Job Description

• The Sales Canvasser role will be responsible for supporting the sales team by creating and maintaining visual displays, skilled verbal communicators who engage the public to market products, solicit donations, disseminate information, or gather information on behalf of organizations. 
• They may walk through or around malls or neighborhoods and initiate conversations with members of their target markets. 
• The Canvasser will also be responsible for creating digital marketing campaigns to promote the brand.

Requirements

• Higher National Diploma or equivalent required in Marketing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to work with a variety of people including but not limited to different levels of experience levels.
• Meeting quotas set out by the company or organization.
• Displaying knowledge of the product or organization and attempting to sway opinions.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to sell ideas or products and sway opinions.
• Ability to work after-hours and on weekends.
