    Quality Assurance Officer – Seasoning Factory

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our Quality Assurance team.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet established quality, food safety, and regulatory standards throughout the production process.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
    • Inspect raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products
    • Conduct routine quality checks on blending, batching, packaging, and finished goods
    • Verify product weight, coding, sealing, labeling, and product appearance
    • Identify and report quality deviations and non-conformances
    • Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, hygiene, and food safety procedures
    • Monitor sanitation and housekeeping activities within production areas
    • Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished products
    • Ensure adherence to company quality policies and procedures
    • Maintain accurate quality records and inspection reports
    • Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
    • Work closely with production, maintenance, and warehouse teams
    • Educate production staff on quality and hygiene standards
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality
    • Conduct basic quality and sensory checks where applicable
    • Monitor product consistency, color, taste, texture, and packaging quality
    • Ensure calibration and proper handling of quality inspection tools and equipment

    Requirements

    • HND / B.Sc. in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality assurance or food manufacturing
    • Experience in seasoning or food production is an added advantage
    • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality management systems
    • Good understanding of GMP, HACCP, hygiene, and food safety standards
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Good communication and teamwork skills

    • Leadership and team collaboration abilities
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
