Psychosocial Support Counsellor at Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria (Caritas Nigeria)

Job Purpose:

• To provide psychosocial support to individuals and families affected by displacement and conflict.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify mental health and emotional well-being needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to beneficiaries.
• Collaborate with protection teams to ensure comprehensive support for affected individuals.
• Develop and implement psychosocial support programs tailored to community needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all counseling activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in psychosocial support services.
• Experience working with displaced populations is required.

Physical Demands:
