The Online Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting online customer engagement, digital communication, and content-driven sales activities across social media platforms. This role combines customer interaction, social media engagement, and sales support to help improve online visibility, audience engagement, and customer experience.
The ideal candidate is responsive, creative, organized, and comfortable communicating with customers across digital platforms while supporting content and online promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities
Online Customer Engagement
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp, and other online platforms
- Maintain professional and helpful communication with customers and online audiences
- Follow up on inquiries and assist customers with relevant product or service information
- Escalate complex or high-priority customer concerns when necessary
Sales Support & Online Assistance
- Assist customers through the online inquiry and purchase process
- Provide accurate information regarding products, pricing, promotions, and availability
- Support coordination between customers and internal teams for order processing and delivery updates
- Help maintain smooth and organized online sales operations
Content & Social Media Support
- Support the execution of daily social media content including posts, reels, stories, and promotional updates
- Assist in writing captions, scripts, and customer-focused messaging for online campaigns
- Engage with users interacting with content to encourage communication and inquiries
- Ensure brand communication remains consistent across platforms
Livestream & Campaign Assistance
- Support livestream sessions by responding to comments and engaging with viewers in real time
- Assist with sharing product information and guiding customer inquiries during live sessions
- Support online promotions and campaign activities across social media platforms
- Help maintain an engaging and organized online customer experience
Content Planning & Coordination
- Assist in organizing weekly and monthly content schedules
- Support timely posting and coordination of digital content across platforms
- Work with content, design, and marketing teams to ensure smooth campaign execution
- Help ensure content aligns with promotions and communication goals
Reporting & Tracking
- Maintain records of customer inquiries, online interactions, and sales activities
- Monitor engagement trends and customer feedback across platforms
- Provide basic updates and reports on online activities and audience interactions
- Support efforts to improve customer communication and online engagement strategies
Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 (based on experience)
