As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and results-driven Marketing & Growth Manager to take ownership of our marketing execution while helping expand Joche Academy through partnerships, lead generation, and enterprise growth.
This is not a traditional marketing role.
We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, managing external partners, coordinating campaigns, building business relationships, and turning marketing activities into measurable business growth.
What You’ll Do
Marketing Execution & Agency Management
- Manage our external marketing agency and content partners
- Coordinate deliverables, deadlines, feedback, and approvals
- Review marketing content, videos, graphics, captions, emails, and campaigns before publication
- Ensure all marketing materials are clear, professional, on-brand, and aligned with business goals
- Coordinate the marketing calendar for campaigns, course launches, promotions, product updates, and community activities
- Make sure marketing work is delivered on time and to a consistently high standard
Content, Campaigns & Brand Visibility
- Work with the marketing agency to plan and execute campaigns across relevant platforms
- Ensure content is adapted properly for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and other relevant channels
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements
- Support campaigns for courses, Joche Enterprise, Joche Passport, Joche Gauntlet, instructor partnerships, student acquisition, and enterprise lead generation
Email Marketing & Customer Communication
- Plan, write, schedule, and monitor email campaigns
- Create newsletters, promotional emails, course launch emails, student updates, instructor updates, and enterprise communications
- Track email performance and recommend improvements
Community Engagement
- Support engagement across Joche Academy’s social media and WhatsApp communities
- Respond to relevant comments, messages, and basic enquiries professionally
- Escalate important issues, complaints, or partnership enquiries to the right person
Growth, Outreach & Partnerships
- Identify universities, corporate organizations, government institutions, NGOs, startup hubs, tech communities, and strategic partners that align with Joche Academy’s growth goals
- Conduct outreach through email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, referrals, networking events, and other relevant channels
- Generate qualified leads for Joche Enterprise and other Joche Academy products
- Book discovery calls, product demonstrations, and partnership conversations
- Work with leadership on pricing, proposals, and final deal closing where needed
Reporting
- Prepare weekly updates on marketing execution, campaign performance, leads generated, outreach activity, meetings booked, and partnership progress
- Maintain a simple pipeline tracker for leads, prospects, follow-ups, and opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, growth, business development, partnerships, or a similar role
- Experience managing external agencies, vendors, freelancers, or content teams
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and campaign execution
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Good project management and organizational ability
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Highly proactive, accountable, and able to drive initiatives with minimal supervision
- Comfortable using tools such as Google Sheets, email platforms, social media platforms, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and basic CRM or pipeline trackers
Compensation & Benefits
- ₦100,000 monthly base salary
- Performance-based bonus
- 3% commission on enterprise deals you originate that result in received payment
- Fully remote work environment
- Initial 3-month contract
- Renewable contract based on performance
