    NYSC Intern – Field Sales

    Job Summary

    • The NYSC Field Sales Intern will support the sales team in executing field sales activities, market expansion, customer engagement, and sales data collection.
    • The intern will gain practical exposure to sales operations, customer relationship management, and market intelligence while contributing to business growth.

    Key Responsibilities
    Field Sales Support:

    • Assist the sales team in daily field sales activities and market visits.
    • Support product promotion and brand awareness initiatives.
    • Participate in customer visits, retail outlet engagement, and distributor interactions.
    • Help identify new sales opportunities and potential customers.

    Market Execution:

    • Monitor product availability and visibility at retail outlets.
    • Assist in merchandising activities and promotional campaigns.
    • Collect market intelligence including competitor activities, pricing, and customer feedback.
    • Ensure proper display of company products at customer locations.

    Customer Relationship Support:

    • Build and maintain good relationships with retailers and distributors.
    • Provide basic product information to customers.
    • Assist in resolving customer inquiries under supervision.

    Sales Administration:

    • Support order collection and documentation processes.
    • Assist with sales reporting and data entry.
    • Maintain records of daily field activities and customer interactions.

    Qualifications

    • Currently serving NYSC Corps Member.
    • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or any related discipline.
    • Posting to the organization approved by NYSC.

    Required Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Willingness to work in the field and travel within assigned territory
    • Basic sales and negotiation skills
    • Good organizational and reporting skills
    • Ability to learn quickly and adapt
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

    Key Learning Outcomes:

    • Practical field sales experience
    • Customer relationship management exposure
    • Market analysis and reporting skills
    • Sales execution and territory management understanding.
