    Relationship Officer - Financial Inclusion

    This role is responsible for managing relationships with associations within assigned localities, driving customer acquisition, loan disbursement, and market activation while maintaining accountability for the repayment performance of customers originated. The role also supports financial inclusion initiatives by promoting product adoption at the grassroots level and ensuring sustainable portfolio growth. This opportunity is available across the following locations: Lagos, Anambra, Rivers, Kaduna, Kano, Oyo, Ogun

    Job Details

    Customer Acquisition, Lead Generation and Sales:

    • Identify, onboard, and activate new markets/locations for Financial Inclusion sales. 
    • Drive loan acquisition and disbursement targets within assigned markets. 
    • Generate leads through field activities, referrals, and team initiatives. 
    • Promote Financial Inclusion products including loans, savings and micropension & microinsurance adoption. 
    • Build strong community presence to sustain continuous customer acquisition.

    Relationship Management and Engagement:

    • Build and maintain relationships with association leaders and key members to foster trust and engagement. 
    • Resolve challenges and complaints from associations to ensure strong partnerships.
    • Facilitate smooth onboarding experiences for association members, ensuring they understand product offerings, usage, and benefits. 
    • Efficiently respond to, qualify, and track inbound leads and requests, ensuring timely follow-up and high conversion rates. 
    • Act as the primary liaison between the company and associations, addressing inquiries, concerns, and needs effectively.

    Collaboration and Coordination:

    • Collaborate with the Team Lead on onboarding markets/associations. 
    • Develop, execute and support implementation of localized sales and engagement strategies aimed at increasing the conversion of association members into active customers.
    • Work with the marketing team to design and implement locality-specific promotional campaigns to improve conversion and customer experience.

    Performance Tracking and Reporting:

    • Track and report on sales conversion rates, disbursements, collections, and pipeline performance. 
    • Gather feedback from association members and monitor other relevant KPIs for reporting to the Team Lead (and the Head of Financial Inclusion Unit when necessary). 
    • Monitor and improve personal performance against assigned targets.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of OND, HND or BSc in any field of study.
    • 1 - 3 years of sales experience in a related field within the financial services industry. 
    • Experience in lending and/or collections is an added advantage.

    Relationship Officer - Federal Business

    We are seeking dedicated and results-driven Relationship Officer to join our team. As a Relationship Officer focusing on the Public Sector, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our loan products specifically designed for Federal employees. This opportunity is available across the following locations: Zamfara, Adamawa, Plateau, Borno, Akwa-ibom, Nasarawa, Edo

    • Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop strategies for expanding our reach within the Public Sector and achieving revenue goals.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

    Requirements
