Graduate Trainee - Quality Control at Nenu Engineering

Job Summary

The Graduate Trainee – Quality Control will support the Quality Assurance team in ensuring that all products meet Nenu's quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training in inspection techniques, quality management systems, production processes, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Assist in inspecting raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
• Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using standard measuring tools.
• Identify defects and report non-conforming products.
• Maintain accurate quality inspection records and reports.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures and work instructions.
• Assist in implementing quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in factory audits and process inspections.
• Promote good housekeeping and workplace safety practices.

What We're Looking For

• B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
• Must have completed NYSC.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• Basic knowledge of quality control principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong integrity, discipline, and willingness to grow.
