    Marketing Executive

    Responsibilities

    • Prospecting & sourcing: Identify and engage suppliers of used batteries (scrapyards, auto shops, fleet operators, solar installers, data centers).
    • Generate leads via cold calls, trade events, and industry networks (e.g., B2B marketplaces, recycling forums).
    • Negotiation & Purchasing: Negotiate pricing and terms for bulk battery purchases (Li-ion, lead-acid, NiMH) based on chemistry, capacity, and condition.
    • Supplier Relationship Management: Build long-term partnerships with key suppliers; ensure reliable inbound supply.
    • Technical Assessment Coordination: Collaborate with tech teams to evaluate battery health (SOH, voltage, and cycles) pre-purchase.
    • Logistics & Compliance:Over safe pickup/shipping coordination.
    • Market Intelligence: Track battery market values, competitor pricing, and emerging source.
    • Consultative Selling: Conduct in-depth energy consultations (in-home or virtual) to understand customer needs, current energy usage, and goals for backup power, self-consumption, or financial savings.
    • Product Expertise: Become a master of our product lineup. Articulate the benefits, specifications, and differences between various inverter technologies (string, micro, and hybrid) and battery chemistries (Li-ion phosphate, NMC).
    • System Design & Quoting: Work with our engineering team to design and price tailored system solutions that optimally pair inverters and batteries to meet the customer's specific requirements.
    • Closing Deals: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead to signed contract. Overcome objections related to technology, financing, and pricing.
    • Lead Generation: Self-generate leads through networking, referrals, and local events, while also following up on company-provided leads.
    • CRM Management: Meticulously track all customer interactions, notes, and sales pipeline stages in our CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot.

    Salary
    N100,00 / month plus sales commission
