In-Store Sales Associate- Lekki Retail Store at West Africa Vocational Education (WAVE)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and assist customers with product recommendations and in-store support
• Respond to customer inquiries and process online and in-person sales transactions
• Maintain product displays and ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Explain product features and help customers make informed purchasing decisions
• Handle customer complaints professionally and courteously
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize store revenue
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate shelf restocking
• Package and fulfill party pack and custom orders accurately
• Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies
• Receive, unpack, and label new stock
• Support promotional events, seasonal campaigns, and in-store marketing efforts
• Stay informed on new product arrivals and offers
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and improve operations

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of a diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related role
• Basic understanding of sales techniques and customer service best practices
• Proficient in operating POS systems and online order platforms
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
• Experience with handling online customer service and financial transactions is an advantage
