    Head of Finance & Corporate Services

    • The Bank Directors Association of Nigeria (BDAN) is seeking a strategic and experienced professional to join our team as Head of Finance & Corporate Services.
    • This role provides leadership and strategic direction for the Association’s Finance, Administration, and Human Resources functions, while overseeing financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and corporate services to support organisational effectiveness and compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Strategy, Management & Reporting

    • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with BDAN’s goals and objectives.
    • Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning.
    • Oversee financial operations including accounting, payroll, financial reporting, and tax filing.
    • Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

    Administration

    • Oversee administrative processes to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Supervise facilities management, procurement processes, and vendor management.

    Human Resources

    • Oversee HR processes and collaborate with department heads to improve operational efficiency and organisational performance.

    Leadership & Team Management

    • Lead and develop the Corporate Services team, providing mentorship and professional development.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes.
    • Communicate financial insights and strategy to the CEO, Board, and key stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to support the Association’s strategic objectives.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional accounting certification such as ICAN or ACCA is an advantage.
    • 5–7 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within the financial services sector or a not-for-profit organisation.
    • Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
