Head of Finance Analyst at Prestigious Consulting Group

Job Summary

• We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Head of Finance to lead the company’s financial direction, support executive decision-making, and build a robust finance function to drive sustainable growth.
• This is a high-impact leadership role, not a back-office position.
• You will serve as a key advisor to the Managing Partner, shaping financial strategy, overseeing complex financial modelling, and ensuring strong financial governance across a growing portfolio of consulting, project finance, and advisory engagements.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership:

• Partner with leadership to define and execute financial strategy aligned with growth objectives
• Provide data-driven insights on pricing, investments, and capital allocation
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning

Financial Modelling & Analysis:

• Build and manage advanced financial models (3-statement models, DCF, NPV, IRR)
• Conduct scenario analysis, investment appraisal, and valuation modelling
• Translate financial data into clear insights for strategic decision-making

Performance Management & Reporting:

• Develop financial dashboards, management reports, and KPI tracking systems
• Monitor business performance and recommend corrective actions
• Deliver investor-ready financial reports and board-level presentations

Investment & Project Finance:

• Lead feasibility studies, financial due diligence, and deal evaluation
• Structure financing solutions (equity, debt, grants, blended finance)
• Engage with DFIs, investors, and financial institutions

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Establish financial controls, policies, and risk management frameworks
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Nigerian regulations (FIRS, CAC, etc.)
• Oversee tax planning and statutory reporting

Team Leadership & Systems:

• Build and lead a high-performing finance team
• Implement financial systems, ERP tools, and reporting structures
• Drive process improvements and financial discipline across the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• ACA, ACCA, or CFA (required) | MBA is an advantage
• 8–10 years’ experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong expertise in financial modelling, corporate finance, and investment analysis
• Experience in consulting, investment, manufacturing, or project-driven environments
• Solid knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations and tax frameworks
