Grant/Proposal Writing Consultant at Damnaish Human Capacity Building Initiative (DHCBI)

As a Grant/Proposal Writing Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission by identifying, securing, and managing grants to fund our projects and initiatives. As we expand our reach, we are seeking a skilled Grant/Proposal Writing Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Research, identify, and pursue grant opportunities aligning with DHCBI's mission and projects.
• Develop comprehensive grant proposals, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and insights for proposal development.
• Manage proposal timelines, submission processes, and follow-up activities.
• Stay updated on funding trends, guidelines, and best practices in grant writing.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in grant/proposal writing, preferably in the Humanitarian/Development sectors.
• Strong research skills with the ability to identify relevant funding opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Requirements:

• MBA/MSc/MA in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated success in securing grants or funding.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant tools.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Familiarity with international donors is preferred (BHA, USAID, ECHO, FCDO, GAC, etc.).
