General Manager - Group of Companies at Invealth Partners Limited

The General Manager is to oversee the strategic direction and operational excellence of a diversified group of companies operating in healthcare services, hospital facility management, building and construction projects, and oil, gas and marine sectors. The right candidate for this role will be involved in driving business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple industries, managing cross-divisional synergies, and delivering exceptional value to stakeholders while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency. The position is fundamentally accountable for driving the viability and profitability of all businesses within the group through strategic leadership, operational optimization, and sustainable growth initiatives.

Main Duties

• Provide strategic leadership across diverse business sectors and manage complex multi-divisional operations.
• Provide strong financial acumen for budget management, cost optimization, and investment decisions across all divisions.
• Drive business viability and profitability by actively generating revenue across all business units to achieve sustainable profitability through strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations including healthcare standards, construction codes, and maritime safety requirements.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
• Implement integrated business strategies that leverage synergies across different sectors.
• Manage diverse teams of healthcare professionals, engineers, construction specialists, and marine operations personnel.
• Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives across all business divisions.
• Ensure robust risk management frameworks for high-risk industries including healthcare and oil and gas operations.
• Build strategic partnerships and joint ventures to expand company’s market presence and capabilities.
• Maintain corporate governance standards and ethical business practices across all companies’ business operations.
• Plan for market expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and capital investments.
• Work effectively with boards, investors, and external stakeholders to achieve corporate objectives.
• Balance competing priorities and allocate resources effectively across multiple business units.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities in all business sectors.

Requirements

• Bachelors and Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related required.
• At least 15 years in senior management roles with multi-industry exposure, preferably including healthcare, construction, and oil and gas sectors.
• Professional certifications in relevant industries (healthcare administration, project management, oil and gas operations) are an added advantage.
• Proven track record in strategic leadership, business development, and operational management.
• Deep understanding of the Nigerian regulatory environment across multiple industries.
• Experience with international business operations and cross-cultural management.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in corporate finance, budgeting, and investment management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments and manage complex, multi-faceted operations.
