Operations Manager at Atlas House

Atlas House is a luxury short-stay (shortlet) serviced apartment business in Port Harcourt. We rent fully furnished apartments to business travellers, tourists and visitors via Social media and direct booking. We're hiring an Operations Manager to run the business on the ground and grow its performance. This role carries real responsibility, so you must be able to work with independently without supervision.

What you'll do

• Respond quickly to guest enquiries on Airbnb and WhatsApp, before and during stays
• Manage bookings across Airbnb and direct channels, keeping the calendar and records accurate
• Coordinate cleaners so every apartment is spotless and guest-ready between stays
• Set and adjust nightly pricing to keep occupancy and revenue high
• Keep the Airbnb listing strong, chase positive reviews, and bring in new bookings
• Handle maintenance issues (power, generator, plumbing, internet) by dispatching the right vendors fast
• Resolve complaints and cancellations professionally

What we're looking for

• Experience in hospitality, serviced apartments, property management, or strong customer-service operations
• Highly organised and responsive, with excellent follow-through
• Trustworthy and self-managing — able to run things well with minimal supervision
• Comfortable with everyday tools: Airbnb, WhatsApp and simple tracking sheets
• A clear, professional communicator who represents a premium brand well

Compensation

• ₦70,000/month basic salary
• Salary + Performance commission from month two, based on hitting occupancy and revenue targets — strong operators earn significantly more
