    Cook / Chef

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the day-to-day preparation and production of quality meals.
    • Plan menus and ensure timely preparation of meals to meet customer demand.
    • Monitor food stock levels, maintain inventory, and minimize waste.
    • Ensure the kitchen environment meets maximum hygiene and safety standards.
    • Supervise and train kitchen assistants as required.

    Academic Qualification and Skills

    • Minimum of Trade Test or Catering Certificate from a recognized institution.
    • Minimum of 4 years’ working experience in a similar role within the hospitality/food industry.
    • Good knowledge of recipes and preparation techniques for different categories of meals (local and continental dishes).
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to proactively manage customer demands and perform effectively under pressure.
    • Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
    • High level of cleanliness, attention to detail, and commitment to food safety practices.
    • Candidate residing around Arepo, Ibafo, Ojodu Berger axis will be given preference.
