Job Description

• We seek a qualified and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our academic team.
• The teacher will help students understand chemistry concepts and prepare for internal and external science exams.

Responsibilities

• Teach chemistry topics
• Prepare and deliver well-planned, easy-to-understand lessons
• Organise and guide students through chemistry practicals and experiments
• Give classwork, assignments, tests, and exam preparation
• Monitor student progress and give useful feedback
• Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment

Requirements
Education:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemistry Education, or a related field
• TRCN certification or proof of registration is an advantage

Experience:

• At least 3years of teaching experience in chemistry
• Experience preparing students for WAEC/NECO is required
• Being a WAEC/NECO examiner is an added advantage

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of chemistry and lab safety
• Good explanation and communication skills
• Practical teaching approach with clear demonstrations
• Patience and strong classroom control
• Good planning and organisational skills

Other Requirements:

• Must be passionate about teaching and student learning
• Must be ready to resume at the beginning of the new academic term
• Must follow school rules and support student development
