The Business Development Officer plays a key role in driving the growth and expansion of the company by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong relationships with clients, and developing strategies for market penetration. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, relationship management, and market analysis. The Business Development Officer will work closely with internal teams to create and implement sales strategies, respond to market needs, and help the company achieve its growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and target potential business opportunities, partnerships, and new markets.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve business growth and expansion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts.
Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and follow up to close deals.
Develop business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to potential clients.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.
Coordinate with project management and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
Experience in business development, sales, or a related role is an advantage
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and business growth targets.
Strong knowledge of market research, sales strategies, and business processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
