    Job Description

    Employee Relations, Recruitment and Selection

    • Document, improve upon and implement personnel policies and procedures, including general staff handbook
    • Provide current and prospective employees with information regarding policies, job duties, working conditions and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
    • Maintain records of all staff with respect to personal information, salary and benefits such as welfare, insurance, pension, PAYE, HMO et al. with strictest level of confidentiality
    • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and assist in resolving work-related problems
    • Manage working conditions, including refereeing disputes, administering disciplinary and grievance procedures, equal opportunities, redundancy and employee leave schedule
    • Conducts exit interviews when necessary to identify reasons for employee’s departure
    • Prepare job descriptions based on communication with and inputs of team leads
    • Create Job ads, post job ads, liaise with recruitment firms and select candidates
    • Oversee the recruitment process, including the development of materials for and conduct of assessments, interviews and documentation of applicants and candidates.
    • Prepare offer of employment for successful candidates and carries out reference checks for confirmation of new hires.
    • Plan, organize and conduct new employee orientation, including the Induction Programme and continuous departmental orientation on the Firm’s structure and processes.

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Research, analyse, recommend modifications to compensation, and benefits policies in line with industry standards to ensure employees remain motivated and driven while maintaining a balance of costs and attracting/retaining talent.
    • Conduct annual salary surveys and implement annual updates to compensation program

     Administrative

    • Keep track and follow through with periodic office expenses e.g. rent, consumables, Energy bills, staff monthly expenses (airtime, internet) et. Al
    • Creating an excellent place to work for you and Aspire Team; execute all office repairs and office upgrade
    • Prepare people related documents for statutory remittance and oversee its submission
    • Send reminders (follow up) for tasks deadlines and meetings

    Performance Management

    • Ensure an effective performance management system is in place and followed at all time, and is in line with the Aspire strategy
    • Coordinate the performance evaluation, collate results and arrange reviews for the moderation stage

    Strategic

    • Assist management in formulating and implementing strategies for the achievement of Aspire’s goals
    • Aspire culture stakeholder
    • Responsible for manpower planning with regards to company needs
    • Recommend and implement ideas and policies that ensure Aspire is able to sustainably attract and retain talented and motivated employees to maintain an excellent work force
    • Contribute to the preparation of yearly and other periodic budgets for Human Resources

    Training and Development

    • Analyse training needs to design employee development and training plans
    • Source training programmes to meet the required training and development needs for staff in various departments
    • Coordinate in-house learning and development programmes for appropriate staff on a regular basis and ensure full attendance of both trainees and facilitators

    Desired Qualities

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Professional HR certification, CIPM/PHRI/SHRM/CIPD
    • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in the same role or related role
    • Committed to continuous education and personal growth
    • A clear understanding of the dynamics of a growing organization
