    • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
    • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
    • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
    • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
    • Management and Research
    • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
    • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.
    • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
    • Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
    • Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light.

    Research & Development Officers

    Job brief/Responsibilities

    The Research and development officer shall undertake Strategic process and innovative activities in developing new services or products, or improving existing services or products. However R&D is crucial for acquiring larger shares of the market through the marketization of new products. The department shall plays an integral role in the life cycle of our range of product.

    Job Duties are but not limited to

    • New Product Research: Research and development department conducts a thorough study to support the project. The research phase includes determining product specifications, production costs and a production time line.
    • New Product Development Research
    • Existing Product Updates: The department shall regularly evaluates the products and services we offered by our company to ensure they are still functional. Potential changes or upgrades are considered. In some cases, the research and development department will be asked to resolve a problem with an existing product that malfunctions or to find a new solution if the manufacturing process must change.
    • Quality Checks: The research and development officer will handle the quality checks on products created by the company. The department must and display intimate knowledge of the requirements and specifications of a particular project. This allows team members to ensure the products meet those standards so that the company puts out quality products.
    • Supervise research projects from early planning stages to the project completion.
    • Communicate with team members and verify that all projects and tasks are on schedule.

    • Highly creative with ability to think out of box
    • Comfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets
    • Ability to create reports and also interpret data
    • Project Management Skills
    • 2+ years in a similar role will of added advantage
