    Van Sales Driver

    Job Purpose

    • This role is expected to drive sales for Integrated Dairies Limited (IDL) by overseeing the process of finished products delivery to all relevant stakeholders.
    • The Van Sales Driver will work closely with the Business Development Executive in meeting with potential business partners and maintain existing client relationships and monitoring of market trends to come up with new business ventures for the company.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Driving a van and delivery of products to customers.
    • Liaising with other departments to ensure optimal customer services.
    • Preventing damage to the delivery van and the company products being transported.
    • Ensuring the cleanliness of the interior and the exterior of the van.
    • Performing basic van maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, and gas and oil levels.
    • Accounting for the safe and timeous delivery of purchased products.
    • Maintaining sales and delivery records, as well as meeting sales targets.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess an FSLC with 2 - 6 years work experience.
    • Experience as a Van Salesman, or similar.
    • Working knowledge of basic van maintenance.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to assume responsibility for the delivery van and the products.
    • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
    • Valid driver’s LASDRI
    • Strong customer focus and negotiating skills.
    • Must have good driving Skills
    • Good knowledge of relevant roads network

    Dispatch Rider

    Job Purpose

    • This role is expected to drive sales for Integrated Dairies Limited (IDL) by delivering items to customers by verifying orders and arranging transportation.
    • The dispatch rider's responsibilities includes but is not limited to; indoor and outdoor pick up, transportation and delivery of customer’s orders, communication of delivery status and method to the customer, responding to customer questions as well as product retrievals.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Responsible for outdoor and indoor delivery, keeping customers informed of the delivery method, current status of delivery and answering customers' questions.
    • Responsible for contacting customers to verify delivery addresses.
    • Responsible for picking up items and delivering them safely to customers on time.
    • Responsible for ensuring that the motorcycle assigned is used for authorized assignments and is in good working condition always.
    • Update Logistics Unit when the bike is almost due for servicing.

    Job Requirements

    • A minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificate
    • At least 2 years relevant work experience.
    • Proven experience as a dispatch rider or relevant position.
    • Familiarity with relevant routes.
    • Must enjoy motorcycling and be a skilled rider.
    • Ability to communicate, read and write.
    • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Have good numeracy skills for delivery and expenses records.
    • Polite and able to get along with people.
    • Ensure proper physical cleanliness at all times.

    Business Development Executive

    Job Purpose

    • This role is expected to drive sales for Integrated Dairies Limited (IDL) by overseeing the process of business development within the company. The Business Development Executive will work closely with other company executives and management teams, meet with potential business partners and maintain existing client relationships and monitor market trends to come up with new business ventures.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Generate sales leads and create opportunities for actual sales within aligned territory.
    • Sell & deliver products to customers and ensure retainership.
    • Target Achievement weekly, monthly, quarterly as given by management for specified territory.
    • Distribute all the products of the company within specified territory, via – Supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, bars, Lounge, Fast food outlets etc.
    • To conduct market intelligence and competitive watch.
    • Drive customer business development and coverage expansion.
    • To share reports daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly on sales, coverage.
    • Assist to develop and maintain a good selling and service culture to maximize selling opportunities.

    Core Deliverables

    • Deliver the monthly sales and coverage targets.
    • Implementation of the company's aligned planogram in-store.
    • Achieve availability of our products with target outlets year-round.
    • Work with support functions to drive shelf offtake and build brand and organization's equity.
    • Identify, create and manage customer orders.

    Job Requirements

    • Higher National Diploma or Bachelor Degree.
    • No experience in Business Development is required but a minimum of 1 year in Sales; preferably in Fast Moving Consumer Goods is an added advantage.
    • Proficiency in the use of Android phones.
    • Must have Sound Numeric, Communication & Interpersonal skills.
    • Strong customer focus.
    • Territory Knowledge is an added advantage.
