Experienced Truck Driver at a Logistics Company

Job summary

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Truck Driver to operate and manage a Mercedes-Benz 817 truck, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of company materials to various locations within our operational areas.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s licence and up-to-date certifications.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow delivery schedules.
• Clean police records; and 2 guarantors
• Strong safety awareness and clean driving record.
• Minimum 4 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Professional Delivery: Handle goods/materials with care and ensure timely deliveries
• Asset Management: Conduct daily routine checks (fluids, tires, brakes) and ensure the vehicle remains in peak operating condition. Keep the vehicles clean and in good condition. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
• Logistics Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption via our reporting system.
• Operational Safety: Strictly adhere to all FRSC regulations and internal company safety protocols.
• Customer Excellence: Act as a brand ambassador by providing courteous service and resolving minor delivery inquiries on-site.
• Communication: Proactively report any vehicle issues, route delays, or delivery challenges to the management team.
