    Stocks and Requisitions Inventory Analyst

    Responsibilities
    Inventory Management:

    • Monitor and report on the company’s inventory levels for cafes, roastery, and online retail.
    • Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to forecast inventory demand, ensuring optimal stock levels.
    • Conduct monthly inventory audits, identifying discrepancies and providing actionable insights.

    Demand Forecasting:

    • Utilize historical data, sales trends, and other relevant metrics to forecast inventory needs for both cafes and the roastery.
    • Coordinate closely with sales and marketing teams to understand promotional activities and their impact on inventory.

    Data Analysis:

    • Evaluate inventory turnover rates and advise on reorder points.
    • Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock, proposing strategies for stock clearance or write-offs.
    • Analyze suppliers’ performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.

    Reporting:

    • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory reports for management’s review.
    • Highlight potential stockouts or overstock situations, providing recommendations for action.

    Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the procurement team to align inventory needs with purchasing schedules.
    • Collaborate with the sales team for insights into customer preferences, seasonal demand spikes, or potential new product launches.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Recommend improvements to current inventory management processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in inventory management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree / HND in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or a similar role.
    • Proficient in inventory management software.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Familiarity with the coffee industry or F&B sector would be an advantage.
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to work in an office environment.
    • Willingness to travel between Lagos and Abuja offices, and occasionally to other company locations as required.

    Account Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Financial Management: Overseeing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies.
    • Client Relationship Management: Building and nurturing relationships with clients, addressing inquiries, and providing financial advice and solutions tailored to their needs.
    • Risk Assessment: Assessing financial risks, identifying potential issues, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and safeguard financial assets.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and monitoring budgets, analyzing financial data, and forecasting financial trends to support informed decision-making.
    • Reporting and Analysis: Generating financial reports, conducting variance analysis, and presenting insights to stakeholders to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
    • Audit and Compliance: Collaborating with internal and external auditors, facilitating audits, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
    • Manage teams for accounts payable and receivable.
    • Communicate with customers and, if necessary, resolve billing issues.
    • Manage transactions involving petty cash.
    • Reconcile the general ledger with the accounts.
    • Inspect and supervise financial records to ensure legal and IRS compliance and accuracy.
    • Perform basic accounting tasks for the business.
    • Take care of customer refunds.

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is typically required. Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CPA, ATS, ICAN may be preferred.
    • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or related fields
    • Demonstrable two-year work experience as an Account Officer (preferred).
    • Proficiency in financial analysis, data interpretation, and problem-solving to navigate complex financial scenarios effectively.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders and convey financial information clearly and effectively.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation, reporting, and analysis.
    • Familiarity with accounting software, financial modeling tools, and spreadsheet applications such as QuickBooks, CRM, Spss, and payroll, among others to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
    • Aptitude for effective time management.
