    Sales Associate

    Description

    • Farmz2u is transforming Africa’s agricultural supply chain by connecting buyers, suppliers, and farmers to ensure a seamless and efficient marketplace. 
    • We are looking for a Sales Associate to play a pivotal role in expanding our reach in Kaduna’s informal markets, driving sales growth, and strengthening business relationships.

    About the Role

    • As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for customer acquisition, sales pipeline management, and relationship building with key stakeholders such as buyers, suppliers, and aggregators. 
    • You will also analyze user engagement trends, onboard new clients, and ensure customer retention to achieve revenue targets.
    • This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with a strong network in agricultural sales and supply chain management.

    Key Responsibilities
    Customer Acquisition & Sales Growth:

    • Develop and implement a customer acquisition strategy to drive business expansion.
    • Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities to enhance revenue streams.
    • Effectively manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals.

    Relationship Management & Customer Retention:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and key industry players.
    • Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
    • Educate buyers on new product features and market trends to drive sales.

    Market Intelligence & Data-Driven Sales Strategy:

    • Conduct market research to understand buyer needs, supplier trends, and product demand.
    • Gather and analyze sales data and user engagement metrics to optimize sales strategies.
    • Provide feedback to product development teams to improve offerings.

    Financial Management & Operational Excellence:

    • Ensure timely payments for services and oversee debt collection processes.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance operational efficiency and sales processes.

    Key Working Relationships

    • Vendors/Suppliers/Aggregators – Partner with key suppliers to maintain product availability.
    • Buyers/Off-takers – Secure long-term partnerships to drive consistent sales.
    • Hotels/Restaurants – Identify business opportunities in the hospitality sector.
    • Farmers & Cooperatives – Strengthen relationships to ensure a reliable supply chain.

    What We’re Looking For
    Education & Experience:

    • Candidates should possess a BA / B.Sc / HND in Business, Sales, or a related field.
    • Background in agricultural sales and supply chain management is preferred.
    • Existing network of buyers in commodity aggregation, agro-processing, hospitality, and food industries.

    Technical & Soft Skills:

    • Strong understanding of B2B sales strategies and customer acquisition.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools for tracking leads and sales performance.
    • Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

    Marketing Associate - Lead Generation & Client Engagement (B2B Supply Chain)

    • To expand our reach, we’re seeking a Marketing Associate who specializes in lead generation, client engagement, and brand visibility.

    About the Role

    • We’re looking for a results-driven Marketing Associate to craft compelling campaigns, develop targeted content, and execute data-driven marketing strategies. 
    • This role will involve both strategic marketing initiatives and on-ground sales efforts to directly engage potential clients. 
    • You will play a key role in positioning Farmz2u as the preferred supply chain solution for businesses.

    Key Responsibilities
    Lead Generation & Digital Campaigns:

    • Develop and execute lead-generation strategies using tools integrated with Microsoft 365 (e.g., Dynamics 365 Marketing, Power BI).
    • Implement and manage email marketing campaigns and outreach efforts via Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar CRM tools.
    • Run targeted advertising campaigns on platforms like LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads to attract high-quality leads.
    • Track and analyze marketing performance using analytics tools like Microsoft Power BI and provide optimization insights.

    Client Engagement & Sales Enablement:

    • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing campaigns and ensure smooth lead handoff.
    • Engage with potential and existing clients to understand their challenges and present tailored solutions.
    • Conduct on-site presentations and product demonstrations to showcase platform capabilities.
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.

    Content & Brand Development:

    • Create engaging content (white papers, case studies, blogs, social media posts) to educate and attract potential clients.
    • Manage and optimize the company’s website for traffic and conversions.
    • Develop branding materials to ensure a consistent and professional brand identity across all channels.
    • Manage the company’s presence across digital and offline channels to drive engagement and awareness.

    Working Relationships

    • Sales Team: Ensure seamless lead handoff and alignment of campaign efforts.
    • Operations & Product Teams: Collaborate to ensure marketing materials accurately reflect product features.
    • Key Clients & Stakeholders: Build relationships to foster trust and credibility.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Experience: 2-4 years in B2B marketing and sales (preferably in SaaS or supply chain industries).

    Technical Skills:

    • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Dynamics 365, Teams, Power BI).
    • Proficiency in lead-generation platforms (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads) and CRM tools.

    Soft Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and persuade clients in person.
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and optimize marketing efforts.
