The Learning & Development Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance employee skills and organizational effectiveness.
The L&D cordinator will also coordinate training activities, assess learning needs,and ensure the delivery of high-quality training sessions align swith GUS Training Centres objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
Develop, organize, and facilitate training programs, workshops, and seminars for staff and clients.
Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and training materials.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
Maintain training records and prepare reports on training activities and outcomes.
Collaborate with department managers to understand current and future training needs.
Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate innovative training methods.
Support the development of training content and materials, both digital and print.
Assist in the onboarding process by delivering orientation programs for new employees.
Promote a learning culture within the organization to encourage continuous professional development.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related fields
4 - 7 years of experience in training and development, preferably in Oil & Gas /Marine sectors
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and training software.
Ability to assess training needs and evaluate training effectiveness.
Creativity and adaptability in training delivery.
Preferred Attributes:
Certification in Training and Development is a plus.
Experience with e-learning platforms and digital training tools.
