Role Summary
The Talent Management Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing talent management strategies that align with organizational goals. The role will oversee the employee lifecycle, ensuring effective recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, talent retention, and workforce capability development.
The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities and possess a proven track record of building high-performing teams and people systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment and workforce planning activities, including talent sourcing, selection, and pipeline development.
- Partner with business leaders to identify workforce needs and implement effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, performance reviews, and employee recognition programs.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives, training needs assessments, and employee capability-building programs.
- Develop and implement employee engagement, retention, and employee experience initiatives.
- Support succession planning, leadership development, and high-potential talent management programs.
- Monitor and analyze talent, performance, and engagement metrics to provide actionable HR insights.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, HR policies, and organizational standards.
- Maintain HR records, workforce analytics, reports, and management dashboards.
- Contribute to HR process improvement, digitalization, and overall organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in Talent Management, Recruitment, or Learning & Development.
- Proven experience in performance management, talent acquisition, employee development, and engagement.
- Good knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
