She is a national non-profit Organization with a mandate of making the lives of vulnerable people better in nations. GPON offers a variety of services to vulnerable and special-needs people, particularly during disasters and crises. The organization is presently operating in the Northeastern regional part of Nigeria where we have reached over 1,000,000 lives with integrated services.

    To support internally displaced persons in Northeast Nigeria, we provide a wide range of programs, including child protection, GBV reduction, livelihood skill building, health services, and education in emergencies services.


    Position Overview

    • Reporting to supply chain coordinator, the Storekeeper is responsible for ensuring the overall care and maintenance of the warehouse. Storekeeper must be able to rapidly turn Program materials around, whilst ensuring the security of the materials and maintaining audit-compliant records.

    Responsibilities
    Key Tasks:

    • Understand, implement and / or maintain standard GPON inventory management policies and procedures.
    • Document the receipt, handling, storage, and release of goods through the GPON warehouse(s).
    • Advise supervisor of potential inventory shortage.
    • Manage casual laborers in the warehouse.
    • Ensure the maintenance of warehouse building(s), fittings and equipment.
    • Implement and ensure clear safety procedures within and around the Warehouse Premises.
    • Implement and ensure clear loading / offloading procedures, correct stacking and turnover (FIFO) procedures.
    • Advise the Supply Chain Coord. of warehouse-specific issues or improvements
    • Maintain the Warehouse activity book or Register recording all outgoing and incoming receipts and activities.
    • Any Other duties as delegated by the Supply Chain Coord

    Warehousing and Inventory:

    • Monitor security of GPON’s storage and supplies.
    • Receive completed store’s request/ release forms and prepare the goods for issuance.
    • On a monthly basis, work with the Supply Chain Coordinator to reconcile the Warehouse register in the Asset tracking sheet and equipment issuance forms.
    • Update the stock record cards and Bin Cards regularly.

    Expected Deliverables:

    • Maintain full and accurate stock card and bin card records.
    • Partake (documented) in monthly and ad-hoc physical inventory checks.
    • Ensure Warehouse is properly arranged according to accepted standards (stacking and spacing).

    Qualifications
    Personal Characteristics:

    • Strong sense of personal integrity.

    • Strong supervisory skills.
    • Ability to multi-task.
    • Team spirit and problem solving abilities.

    Job Requirements:

    • Knowledge of generic warehouse management systems and forms
    • Secondary School education
    • Physically mobile, able to lift 30kg without strain.
    • Competent in spoken and written English
    • Good mathematical skills.
    • Competent use of PC especially spreadsheets (format / sort / filter).

    As a result, we're looking for a full-time Business Development & Partnerships Officer to spearhead GOALPrime's business development initiatives.

    What you will do

    You will identify and foster business and partnership opportunities leading to increasing GOALPrime’s reach and impact. The following list provides some of the activities you will lead, but the role will continue to evolve based on both the needs of the organization and your interests and skillset.

    Strategy development & execution:

    • Develop and lead the execution of GOALPrime’s business development strategy leading to a diversification of funding streams.
    • Identify long-term partners and donors with the goal of increasing GOALPrime impact and annual budget by 50% within 2 years.

    Lead generation & relationship management

    • Identify new donor funding opportunities and partners and articulate GOALPrime’s added value to consortia. This will include working closely with our senior management team in articulation of core messages in a variety of communications formats.
    • Develop and manage systems to identify funding opportunities in relevant thematic areas and geographies (i.e. from US Government, other governments, foundations, innovation challenges).
    • Attend events, conferences and participate in communities of practice to learn about potential opportunities for business development and promote GOALPrime’s added value to potential funders and partners.
    • Cultivate long-term relationships with existing and potential partners and funders.
    • Lead meetings and calls with potential partners to understand programmatic challenges and needs and propose ways that GOALPrime can support their work.

    Grant/proposal writing

    • Identify new funding opportunities and manage the grant or proposal application process including drafting, editing, and process management

    Technical expertise: Through field visits and frequent communication with field teams, you will gain and maintain an in-depth knowledge of GOALPrime’s programs, and capacity in order to communicate avenues of collaboration with potential partners.

    Who we’re looking for

    We are looking for a motivated, passionate individual who is willing to wear multiple hats and do what it takes to develop and maintain partnerships and expand our reach. The following attributes are a general overview, but we will consider individuals who do not meet all of the details below if you have the right skillset and attitude.

    Anticipated qualifications:

    • Minimum 3 years’ work experience in a business development role
    • Experience researching, cultivating and maintaining relationships with partners and funders
    • Proven track record of raising funds through writing grant proposals and prospecting with major donors/foundations
    • Able to work independently, multi-task, collaborate with a distributed team, be persistent and work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
    • Good knowledge of the global digital health landscape, including donors and implementing partners, preferred
    • Desire and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time

    • A can-do attitude: You remain optimistic in the face of adversity and creatively solve problems to get things done.
