    Senior Electrical / Electronic Instructor

    Brief Description

    • The position of Senior Electrical/Electronic Instructor involves imparting (In-Plant and In-House) Technical knowledge to skilled and unskilled personnel from the Industrial and oil & gas sector, (or Trainee beneficiaries of Cooperate Social Responsibility programme) in the area of Electrical and Electronic Engineering via the use of modern Training aids, software, simulators and hands-on equipment.

    Other Responsibilities

    • Ability to facilitate and pass across previous Engineering experience.
    • Implementation Electrical & Electronic Trainings and projects.
    • Developing new and updating Electrical & Electronic Courses and Manuals.
    • Building, installing Electrical & Electronic Trainers as well as software to facilitate Training programmes
    • Sourcing for Electrical & Electronic projects e.g. procurements, installation, repair, upgrades etc.
    • Lead research and development team in Electrical & Electronic related project and Trainings.
    • Ability to work under pressure and tight reporting schedule
    • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Readiness to travel for in-plant Trainings.
    • Ability to multi-task.

    Qualifications

    • Senior Electrical / Electronic Instructor will have over 5-8 years’ skill and competence in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and must have handled some Electrical / Electronic projects.
    • B.Sc. / B.Eng. / B.Tech and M.Sc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related fields.
    • Over 3 years hands-on training and facilitation experience & presentation experience.
    • Ability to design world-class Training materials and Trainers.
    • Must be skilled in practical & field experience with direct applications of relevant software.
    • Minimum of 35 years’ old.
    • Over 3 years hands-on training and facilitation experience & presentation skills
    • Must be skilled in practical & field experience with direct applications of relevant software.

    • Over 2 years hands-on training and facilitation experience & presentation skills

    Managing Editor

    Responsibilities

    • Approve and edit editorial content
    • Coordinate the distribution policy of the journal in bookshops, hotels, airlines, individual and corporate subscription.
    • Manage the on-line distribution of the journal
    • Coordinate the advertisement sales team to ensure sufficient procurement of adverts from corporate organization, in time, develop the distribution channel
    • Coordinate editorial publications and meetings
    • Create and employ various marketing strategies in order to get more people to read the published content.

    Requirements

    • A graduate of a relevant course of study

    Vessel Operations Coordinator

    Job Descriptions
    The candidate to handle vessel operations:

    • To ensure operations activities are carried out in good order
    • To ensure stevedores are well kitted with their PPE always
    • To ensure vessels are registered before the commencement of operation
    • To ensure stowage plans are ready before vessel operation commences
    • To ascertain the cargo to be discharged is to berth in Lagos.
    • To check or reconcile with the Chief Officer if cargo meant for our terminal has been completely discharged.
    • To ensure batteries and mechanic are on ground before the commencement of ship operation
    • To ensure gears are available for vessel operations
    • To ensure safe discharge of vessels
    • To ensure compliance of safety rules & regulations
    • Planning of vessel operations before arrival
    • To ensure inventory of gears in the store are taken quarterly and forward report to management.
    • To ensure daily report of operations is sent to the supervising manager.
    • Assist in the pre-operation activities prior vessel arrival.
    • Any other job as may be assigned by the management.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree / HND qualification.
