Head of Engineering at Wisdom Scroll Consulting

• Lead the engineering department, including civil, structural, MEP, and site teams.
• Approve engineering designs, method statements, and technical submittals.
• Develop and enforce engineering standards, policies, and best practices.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation from an engineering perspective.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g., FCT Building Control, NESREA) for approvals.
• Drive innovation in construction methods and materials.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical officers.
• Represent the company at industry forums and client meetings.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 12–15 years of engineering experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Chief Engineer, Technical Director).
• Skills: Deep knowledge of Nigerian building codes, contract management (FIDIC), risk assessment, and design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Staad Pro).
• Certifications: COREN registered; MNSE, PMP, or PE license required.
