    Turnaround Agent (gFuture)

    Qualifications

    • Have at least a Bachelor’s / Polytechnic degree or equivalent qualification
    • Willingness to travel
    • Willingness to work in an airport environment under these conditions
    • Must be willing to work shifts/overtime
    • Must be willing to work under constant time pressure
    • Must be willing to work under high stress levels
    • Must be willing to work outdoor weather conditions
    • Must be willing to work with noise pollution
    • Additional projects and/or duties required or assigned by the Duty Manager

    Job Role

    • Ensure parking stand is allocated
    • Check all inbound flight paperwork
    • Rectify/report all in bound flight paperwork discrepancies
    • Ensure sufficient services and staff are in position on time as per Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
    • Ensure the provision of the requisite equipment and services to Special Needs Passengers
    • Prior to aircraft arrival, ensure all arrival services and equipment are in correct position. Meet and liaise with all service parties
    • Ensure all agreed SLAs, safety standards and procedures are adhered to by all internal and external parties
    • Monitor safe arrival of aircraft to stand, activate and implement arrival procedure
    • Supervise/coordinate passenger disembarkation
    • Supervise/coordinate crew disembarkation
    • Supervise/coordinate dead load offload
    • Check with third parties for any discrepancies
    • Check aircraft holds pre and post flight
    • Ensure all in house departments and third parties adhere to agreed working practices/guidelines to ensure safe and on time turnaround
    • Always communicate with all relevant departments regarding OTD
    • Maximize OTD while remembering, safety first before commercial consideration
    • Ensure all parties in place for safe departure from stand and make sure all security checks have been completed correctly
    • Initiate/agree aircraft pushback
    • Final accountability for authorizing departure of aircraft in accordance with all Green Africa requirement

    Customer Service Agent (gFuture)

    Qualifications

    • Have at least a Bachelor’s / Polytechnic degree or equivalent qualification
    • Excellent Communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to work under pressure during peak periods in a stressful environment
    • Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays)
    • Must be able and willing to type and learn airline specific computer systems
    • Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required
    • Excellent conflict management skills
    • Must be able to pay close attention to details

    Job Role

    • Inspect and verify passenger documentation
    • Manage passenger baggage processing including handling and fee calculation including other ancillary services if applicable
    • Work at arrival and departure gates to ensure on-time departures of aircraft
    • Always maintain the highest standards of safety and security
    • Allocate seat numbers, issue boarding passes and luggage labels
    • Check in of passengers and crew according to Green Africa policies
    • Escort passengers to and from aircraft and take special care of the elderly and unaccompanied children
    • Liaise with Authorities on flown passengers and ensuring accuracy of post-departure documentations
    • Overview of gate and arrival hall activities
    • Coordinate and reconciliate all arriving baggage
    • Liaise with Flight Controller, Turnaround Coordinator, and customers on any in-bound baggage irregularities
    • Process all completed Property Irregularity Report (PIR) forms
    • Interface with Cargo Operations on all arriving cargo
    • Queue control to expedite customer flow, assist customer with general gate and airport information
    • Process passengers and assign seats according to Customer needs. (Large parties, disabled, families etc.)
