    Business Development Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities to meet and exceed Annual Business Plan Targets.
    • Conduct extensive mapping of the assigned region to identify potential clients for Internet Leased Line and other products & services.
    • Create comprehensive mapping of Potential & Existing Accounts and establish a rapport with C-Level Executives.
    • Understand client needs, offer solutions and support, answer potential client questions, and follow-up call questions; respond to client requests for proposals (RFPs).
    • Collaborate with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
    • Develop informative presentations; present and deliver information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.
    • Create and maintain a list/database of prospective clients; maintain a database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information.
    • Conduct cold calling; make multiple outbound calls to potential clients; close sales and work with the client through the closing process.
    • Meet all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meet or exceed annual sales goals.
    • Maintain a healthy pipeline/funnel of all sales administration using CRM software.
    • Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintain short- and long-term business development plans.
    • Coordinate with Support Teams and ensure the customer's issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
    • Ensure collections of receivables are achieved as per the set targets.

    Key Relationships:

    • Head of Department (HOD)/Chief Information Officer (CIO)/Managing Director (MD).
    • Head of Business Development Department.
    • Head of Customer Care Department.
    • Head of Project Management Department.
    • Customers of Global Solutions.

    Skills Required:

    • Fair knowledge of Telecom Technologies, including Internet Bandwidth & Leased Circuits, Smart Solutions & Internet of Things (IoT), and Internet Broadband.
    • B2B experience with a minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in a Telecommunications Company or Internet Service Provider with a fair knowledge of Internet Leased Lines, Leased.
    • Excellent communication skills – Oral & Written.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
    • Active listening and problem-solving skills.
    • Time Management skills.
    • Critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to identify potential leads.
    • Ability to communicate with managers, directors, VPs, CXOs.
    • Sales negotiation skills.
    • Knowledge of Line, Home Broadband, FTTH, FTTX, VoIP, IPTV, and Telecommunications Operations.
    • Ability to create a strong positioning of Organization, Management, and self.
    • Working knowledge of CRM like Salesforce, HUBSPOT, etc.
    • Knowledge of sales management, marketing, strategic management, and business planning.
    • Ability to do continuous follow-ups with multiple collaborators.
    • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
    • Prior experience working with the Telecommunication Business Development Department.
