Technical Support Engineer at Ribap Networks Limited

Job Summary: As a Technical Support Engineer at Ribap Networks Limited, you will be integral in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and network systems. This role requires a blend of technical know-how, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Radio Installation PTP and PTMP: Perform installation and maintenance of Point-to-Point (PTP) and Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) radio systems using Cabium, Unifi, and Mikrotik equipment.
2. CCTV Installation: Install and configure CCTV systems (Hikvision, Dahua), including IP and analog systems.
3. Structural Cabling: Execute structured cabling for network infrastructure.
4. Site Surveys and Requirement Analysis: Conduct thorough site surveys to determine installation needs, creating detailed requirements and cost estimates.
5. Networking Equipment Configuration: Configure Mikrotik routers and switches, Unifi and Cabium radios, and access points as required for projects.
6. Network Management: Manage the network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
7. Customer Support: Provide excellent technical support to clients, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.

Qualifications:

• ND/HND, BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in radio installation (PTP, PTMP), CCTV installation, and structured cabling.
• Knowledge of Cabium, Unifi, and Mikrotik radio equipment.
• Experience with Hikvision and Dahua CCTV systems.
• Strong skills in network configuration and management.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in various environments and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
