We are looking for an HVAC Project Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) projects from planning and design to installation and commissioning.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, coordination skills, and experience managing both teams and vendors to ensure projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and to code.
Key Responsibilities
Develop scopes, timelines, and budgets for HVAC projects.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and approve HVAC system designs, conduct load calculations, and plan layouts.
Source equipment and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Supervise on-site installation and resolve any technical issues.
Oversee system testing, commissioning, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Track project expenses and maintain all related documentation.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and maintain strong client communication.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
3 - 8 years of relevant experience in HVAC project engineering.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, load calculations, equipment sizing, and technical drawings.
Familiarity with industry standards such as ASHRAE, ISO, and local codes.
Experience in procurement, vendor management, and site supervision.
Proficient in budgeting, documentation, and client communication.
