Plant & Equipment Manager at M-P Infrastructure Limited

We are seeking a highly experienced Plant & Equipment Manager to lead our Plant & Equipment Business Unit and oversee a substantial fleet of heavy construction equipment supporting major road and civil infrastructure projects.

This is a strategic leadership role with full responsibility for fleet operations, asset lifecycle management, maintenance strategy, equipment deployment, workshop performance, cost optimization, and overall business unit profitability.

The successful candidate will be accountable for driving fleet availability, maximizing asset utilization, improving maintenance reliability, managing equipment investments, and providing leadership across workshop and field operations to ensure effective project delivery and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• B.Eng. / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• COREN Registration is mandatory
• 15+ years’ experience managing heavy construction plant and equipment operations
• Strong experience leading large equipment fleets within road construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects
• Deep expertise in fleet management, maintenance planning, workshop operations, and asset lifecycle management
• Proven track record in cost control, budget management, equipment utilization, and operational performance improvement
• Experience managing equipment hire contracts, vendors, and maintenance programmes
• Strong commercial acumen and leadership capability
