The Subsurface Data Analyst & Admin Assistant will oversee the development and utilisation of subsurface data, information, and documents, employing best in class data management procedures, tools, and processes to ensure data quality assurance, efficient data storage, retrieval, and data governance.
S/He will embed minimum data management standards and policies, conduct data analysis and troubleshooting while ensuring the maintenance of data security and confidentiality.
The data Analyst will work within the Corporate Subsurface and Asset Teams managing a range of subsurface information and data types across the different assets of the company.
S/He manages and facilitates timely access to quality assured information and data for users, and is required to work with many types of data including seismic, well, spatial, production data, etc.
Requirements
A university degree or equivalent with 3 years relevant experience (and relevant IT certifications). Skills in the following: Data management, Data analysis, and Database administration.
Must have a broad understanding of the E&P business to effectively support the teams in studies, exploration, operations, and production activities.
Use of data analysis tools and data management software (Python, Oracle, SQL, etc.)
Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Basic understanding of subsurface operations and/or the oil and gas industry.
Drive, support and monitor the overall implementation and operationalization of the Ohaji South/Jisike Host Communities Development Trust for the Eastern Asset/OML 53 operational areas covering a total of 48nos producing and non-producing host communities across various LGAs of Imo and Rivers States respectively.
Monitor the activities of the various governance structures of the HCDT – Board of trustees (BOT), Management Committee (MC), and Advisory Committee (AC) members.
Drive and carry out the host communities needs assessment studies as required in line with the PIA HCDT provisions, complete the Host Communities Development Plans and ensure the implementation of same.
Requirements
B.Sc. in a related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
In-depth knowledge of community relations, corporate social responsibility and investments, sustainable development goals.
Demonstrated experience in stakeholders’ engagement and management in a complex environment and related industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement, building and maintaining relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, non-governmental organizations, and local communities.
