    CSCC Pharmacist

    Job Description

    • Dispense Antiretroviral drugs (ARVs) and other medication in line with approved regimens and standards
    • Dispensing ARVs in appropriate packaging with clear instructions
    • Providing medication-related counseling, including reinforcing adherence and advising on potential side effects and drug interactions
    • Providing drug information to health service providers and clients on request
    • Identifying and supporting follow-up of clients who do not return for refills of their ARVs
    • Working with providers and clients to identify, manage, and report adverse drug reactions and drug interactions
    • Contributing to decision making on treatment and care for individual clients
    • Ensure Good Pharmaceutical Practice (GPP) and standards
    • Calculate drug storage needs for ART start-up and expansion
    • Monitor ARV and other drug (STIs, OIs, etc.) stock levels at the community center and communicate with the project team for re-stocking
    • Contribute to forecasting /quantification of health commodities and monitoring of drug distributions
    • Oversee drug logistics i.e. stock-taking, proper drug storage, drug stock out and monitor the effectiveness of the pull system
    • Assess the functionality of existing pharmaceutical management systems and develop implementation plans that prioritize and address gaps
    • Oversee quality assurance systems at the Community Centre by close monitoring of prescription patterns, ensuring proper documentation, side effects monitoring (pharmacovigilance) and reducing dispensing errors
    • Identify needs for information resources—for example, ART guidelines and drug information for medication counselling
    • Implement monitoring and reporting of medication errors, suspected adverse reactions to medicines, and other medication-related events
    • Monitoring ART prescriptions for appropriateness and discrepancies
    • Monitoring adherence to ARVs; working with clients and other health service providers to address difficulties
    • Address emerging problems as client numbers increase
    • Contribute to the development of data collection tools for KPs (HTS, ART and Prevention for Positives)
    • Monitor and report weekly enrolment
    • Provide support to the Strategic Information (SI) unit to conduct research (qualitative and quantitative) surveys on service delivery outcomes for HIV prevention, care and treatment.
    • Ensure timely submission of quality reports to ECEWS on monthly and quarterly basis or as required
    • Support the development of budgets and work plans, as appropriate, for clinical services in the Community Centre.
    • Proactively seek out and report relevant opportunities, success stories, linkages or challenges that may promote clinical services for the project.
    • Carry out any assignment as may be decided.

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    Senior Technical Advisor – HTS

    Job Description

    • Under the supervision of the Director, HTS, the Senior Technical Advisor – HTS will provide strategic leadership and technical direction for the planning, implementation, monitoring, and quality assurance of HIV Testing Services (HTS) across all supported states and implementing partners.
    • S/He will strengthen public health systems by promoting innovative, evidence-based, and client-centered HTS approaches that align with national guidelines and global best practices.
    • Provide high-level technical guidance for the design and scale-up of HTS interventions in facility and community settings.
    • Lead the development, dissemination, and implementation of HTS strategies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality improvement tools.
    • Supervise and mentor Technical Advisors, State Teams, and partner staff to ensure effective coordination and quality implementation of HTS activities.
    • Support integration of HTS into broader public health service delivery platforms, ensuring seamless linkage to prevention, treatment, and care programs.
    • Collaborate with national, state, and local government health agencies to strengthen HTS policies, coordination structures, and data systems.
    • Promote innovative and differentiated testing models, including index testing, HIV self-testing, and community-based testing approaches.
    • Provide technical input to strengthen data use, surveillance, and performance monitoring for continuous program improvement.
    • Lead and support capacity-building initiatives for partners and health workers to enhance service quality and sustainability.
    • Represent the organization in national technical working groups, donor meetings, and other relevant public health forums.
    • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, work plans, and proposals to meet donor and organizational requirements.

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • A first degree in Medicine, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, Public Health, or any related health field.
    • A master’s degree in public health, Epidemiology, or a related field is required.
    • At least ten (10) years of progressive experience in HIV program management, with a minimum of five (5) years in HTS technical leadership or senior advisory roles.
    • Strong understanding of public health systems, HIV prevention, and service delivery integration.
    • Experience managing or providing oversight for USG-funded projects, with solid knowledge of donor compliance and reporting standards.
    • Demonstrated skills in leadership, coordination, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
    • Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
    • High level of integrity, accountability, and professional maturity.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Medical Doctor

    Job Description

    • Oversee the creation of comprehensive and inclusive health insurance packages tailored to diverse community needs.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the health insurance scheme within the community.

    Minimum Required Qualification

    • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent medical degree
    • A Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Epidemiology (MSc), or an equivalent postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
    • Proven experience in health insurance, community health initiatives, or a similar role.
    • Proven experience in establishing and building working relationships and collaborating with relevant stakeholders (community leaders, SMOHs, HMBs, SPHCDAs, allied ministries, departments and agencies as well community leaders) for the success of programs.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Strong experience in providing mentorship and technical assistance.
    • Self-motivated and demonstrated success in building effective programs in resource-limited settings.
    • Understanding of healthcare systems, insurance, and financial management.
    • Ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines and deliver high volumes of work with minimal supervision.

    CSCC Clinician

    Job Description

    • Working with program team to develop and/or review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the provision of ART services to Persons at increased risk who are already on ART or are at substantial risk of HIVs.
    • Provide ART services to Persons at increased risk who are already on ART or are at substantial risk of HIV in line with current World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations and national guidelines at cluster health facilities and through mobile ART.
    • Oversee clinical HIV treatment protocols in each clinical department to reflect the needs of the target population and ensure consistency of treatment services throughout the CSCC.
    • Ensure a seamless delivery of service for clients from intake through discharge at designated cluster health facilities and through mobile ART, Review and assess client treatment protocols and plans, including short- and long-term goals, review clinical records to evaluate the necessary level of client care.
    • Effectively manage and supervise other CSCC Case Management Teams including clinicians, health service providers, volunteers and case managers as well as mobile ART teams.
    • Advise project team on national and state policies, procedures and licensing requirements and ensure compliance with all requirements and/or mandatory inspections.
    • Supervise weekly/monthly clinical staff meetings, Integrate CSCC’s mobile ART services with other project activities to enhance the achievement of project outcomes.
    • Provide support to the Strategic Information (SI) unit to manage data collection for service delivery to Persons at increased risk who are already on ART or are at substantial risk of HIV in project communities using nationally approved tools.
    • Ensure timely submission of quality reports on monthly and quarterly basis or as required.
    • Support data analysis, interpretation and use at the CSCC. Use of data at facility level for decision making towards improving service delivery through the CSCC.
    • Liaise with ECEWS to use data for decision making on how to best tailor services according to the needs of the Persons at increased risk who are already on ART or are at substantial risk of HIV.
    • Support the development of CSCC budgets and work plans for clinical services and operational efficiency, Provide support for prompt retirement of cash expenditure and advances.
    • Prepare timely and quality routine and required program reports.
    • Proactively seek out and report relevant opportunities, success stories, linkages or challenges that may promote clinical services for the project and carry out any assignment as assigned.

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • Advanced Medical Degree (MD preferred)
    • Robust clinical experience in HIV/AIDS care and antiretroviral treatment (3years + preferable)
    • Computer literacy in Microsoft applications and other software
    • Excellent grasp of clinical issues and current literature in HIV/AIDS treatment
    • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills including the ability to foresee problems and initiate appropriate action.
    • At least 3 years of clinical experience in management of infectious disease, and of management of clinical services.
    • Experience in developing country health care programs

    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Fluency in written and spoken English.

    Monitoring & Evaluation Associate

    Job Description

    • Will be engaged to support planning, review, and implementation of core M&E activities with the view of ensuring highest data quality for evidence-based decision making and program improvement across ECEWS supported facilities.
    • S/He will support coordination and oversight functions on strengthening health information systems through strategic information processes and innovations at the state level and across ECEWS supported facilities and in line with PEPFAR guidelines.
    • Provide support to sites in the state, including interacting with site Program Managers, M&E focal points, M&E officers of SACA/SASCP, other Implementing Agencies and local research groups on needs and ensuring that these parties understand and can support these requirements.
    • Also, s/he will work with program and technical staff to support the correct implementation and use of monitoring and evaluation tools, and adherence to complete, correct and timely reporting, ensuring that the quality of program/project activities adheres to SOPs by supporting the development and implementation of appropriate mechanisms to ensure quality.

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • MBBS/MD, BSc/BA in Statistics, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Physiology, or other health-related degrees with 1-year post NYSC work experience

    EMR Associate

    Job Description

    • Coordinate the day-to-day upload of XML files to the National Data Repository (NDR), ensuring completeness, timeliness, and data integrity
    • Monitor upload logs, troubleshoot transmission errors, and escalate unresolved issues promptly
    • Maintain accurate records of all data submissions and upload activity.
    • Supervise and provide daily direction to data entry clerks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to data entry protocols
    • Track team performance metrics and provide feedback or escalate performance gaps as needed
    • Conduct spot-checks and audits on entered data to ensure quality control

    • Generate routine and ad-hoc reports for program teams, facility managers, and national stakeholders
    • Ensure data submissions comply with national HI standards, data governance policies, and patient confidentiality requirements
    • Participate in data quality assessments (DQAs) and implement corrective action plans
    • Train facility-level staff on EMR usage, data entry best practices, and system navigation
    • Serve as the first point of contact for EMR-related inquiries from facility and program staff
    • Liaise with state and HQ HI teams on system updates, policy changes, and technical rollouts
    • Any other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • HND or University Degree in Computer Science, Information System or related field.
    • At least 2 years’ experience Local or International NGOs; preferably in Care and treatment.
    • Experience with use, deployment and EMR management. Knowledge of Access or other programming language a plus. Ability to troubleshoot and run database queries.
    • Ability to work under pressure cooperatively as a member of a team.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret large amount of information. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of Machine Learning and AI techniques.
    • Excellent personal communication skills, in written and verbal English, with high impact influencing and persuasive skills and able to represent the organization to donors and partners
