    Manager - Sales and Trade Development Jos

    Reports To: Senior Manager Sales and Trade Development

    Division: Sales and Distribution 

    Description

    • Execute the retail strategy in the territory to achieve the objective of retail expansion, dominance, mind share and loyalty in the region.
    • Identify, create and execute Communal & Goodwill events and sponsorship initiatives in the region to drive affinity and localization of the MTN brand in the region.
    • Research and provide feedback reports on competitor activity, network quality, peculiar market situations and any issues affecting the marketing of MTNN products in the region

    Manager - Youth Platforms

    Coordinator - NES Special Projects

    • Directly manage installation, commissioning and integration of enterprise connectivity projects and other ad hoc projects that may arise from time to time.

    Officer - Payroll

    Reports To: Manager Salaries

    Description

    • Coordinate the processing, remittance, reconciliation and reporting of all payroll related statutory liabilities (PAYE, NHF), ensuring MTNN’s compliance with all payroll related tax laws and regulations.
    • Monitor prompt submission of payroll related inputs and review same for accuracy in terms of claims, allowances, tax relief and deductions.
    • Administer statutory audit (concerning PAYE, ITF and NHF) process and respond promptly to payroll related queries raised by tax authorities and other regulatory bodies, preparing PAYE audit support data for external auditor’s use.

    Job Description
    Reports To: Manager Network Enterprise Services

    Description

    • Co-ordinate the activities of Service performance resources in the team to the computation of Enterprise customers service availability and flagging/correcting any violation.
    • Co-ordinate and report change (suspension, termination and reactivation) request implementation of Enterprise customer service and ensure implementation is closed within SLA

    Accountant - Financial Operations Fixed Asset Accounting

    Reports To: Manager Finance Operations (Fixed Asset Accounting)

    Division: Finance

    Description

    • Approve projects on project module as well as review CAPEX Steercom pack for correctness of the financials.
    • Supervise schedules supporting value in Capital Acceptance filling application and ensure records and schedules are sufficient to meet audit/regulatory needs. 
    • Review, interpret and apply fixed assets policies to fixed asset transactions including purchase, valuation, revaluation, accruals and disposal.
    • Develop, implement and communicate fixed asset processes, policies and procedures to all stakeholders; as well as participate in month end financial procedures.
    • Review reconciliation of analysis of monthly additions to BTS with asset verification listings before capitalization and all schedules of all movements before updating the register.
    • Review/reconcile all site pictures of newly integrated sites with planned implementation from NWG, before uploading on the Register.
    • Analyze/reconcile items on electronic asset movement form and additional assets before updating asset register.
    • Conduct/evaluate quarterly value audit and reverse logistics analysis. 
    • Schedule all MTNN assets leased to other operators in the group and review movement for compliance with the company’s policy.
    • Ensure all new assets are properly tagged and setup in the fixed asset register for tracking purposes.
    • Implement/update all accounting adjustments in the fixed asset register in line with the set accounting standards.
    • Periodically reconcile and coordinate physical inventory of fixed assets to ensure proper location and existence of all fixed assets.
    • Review all CAPEX and ensure PPOE is within CAPEX Steercom approved project, budget and board approvals. 
    • Ensure strict compliance of Purchase Requisition to procurement and capitalization PPP’s.
    • Review aging analysis of CAPEX purchase orders, schedule of CAPEX analysis; reconcile capital commitment report with CPG project  and ensure CAPEX Budget/ commitment reconcile with actual.
    • Provide all information to stakeholders that will aid in the disposals of assets as regards theft and faults on sites and ensure verification of all assets on BTS sites/advise on their status on periodic basis.

    Education:

    • First  degree in any accounting related discipline 
    •  A professional accounting qualification (ACA, CPA, ACCA) is mandatory
    • Fluent in English 

    Experience:

    • 3 - 7 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience working with others

    • Advise Line Management on possible financial impact across all divisions of regulatory/statutory developments and trends while highlighting potential revenue generation/cost saving opportunities.

    • Knowledge and experience of best practice compliance and governance frameworks, methodologies and emerging practice, compliance monitoring and risk assessments in the context of the Nigerian and global telecommunications industry.  
    • Experience and understanding of the Nigerian telecommunications industry and regulatory framework 
    • Strong and effective business communication (verbal and writing skills)
    • Ability to plan and execute numerous complex projects under pressure
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Strong knowledge of internal controls is an added advantage
    • Experience and knowledge of Data Analysis, Research & Risk management would be an advantage

    Manager - PS Core and IPMPLS Performance

    Reports To: Senior Manager Core Network Performance

    Division: Networks

    Description

    • Develop framework to review network performance and ensure compliance in the following areas:
    • Interconnect Performance Analysis & Quality assurance
    • PS Core, IPMPLS and Internet Edge performance analysis and Quality assurance
    • Study and report the performance of the core network and alert the different units for recommendations on implementing the appropriate solutions.
    • Ensure PS Core, IPMPLS and Internet Edge Network performance indices are maintained above agreed targets in delivering best in class Customer experience. 
    • Perform routine (Pro-active, Reactive) monitoring, analysis and audit key performance & Quality of Service indicators across the network 
    • Network Performance diagnosis, analysis and evolution trending to proactively drive network quality and forecasting
    • Ensure tests and procedures are carried out, evaluated and properly understood and ensure product modifications are investigated. 
    • Providing regular independent performance reports to Management, Group and the Regulators indicating  actual levels of  key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 
    • Provide an internal Network Quality and Audit function allowing independent and objective performance analysis of the network and its impact on the business including commercial promotion/activity  impact analysis
    • Performance and Capacity monitoring/reporting of PS Core, IPMPLS and Internet Edge
    • Analysis of trend of mobility and session management reports for performance anomalies/exceptions and recommendation for optimal performance.
    • Coordinate KPI improvement recommendations to ensure timely intervention in the case of perceived degradation on PS Core, IPMPLS and Internet Edge Nodes performance.

    Education:

    • First degree in Engineering, preferably electrical/electronics
    • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline added advantage
    • Fluent in English

    Experience:
    6 - 13 years’ experience which includes:

    • 5 years’ work experience in PS Core, IPMPLS and Internet Edge planning, optimization or Performance  in a mobile network operator environment
    • 3 years’ experience in Performance/quality assurance/planning of PS Core, IPMPLS and Internet Edge
    • 2 years managerial/Supervisorial Experience
