Job Details

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare accurate financial reports and statements, interpret data, and ensure adherence to industry regulations.
• Managing budget, and cash flows and reviewing cost reduction strategies.
• Monitoring the Company's group key performance indicators, assisting in strategy and forecasts, handling performance reporting, and increasing operational efficiency and execution Company-wide.
• Researching and reporting on factors that influence the company's performance and analyzing and predicting market trends.
• Developing financial management strategies to reduce financial risk, providing relevant recommendations to maximize profits, and assisting executives in decision-making.
• Developing external relationships with auditors, solicitors, bankers and other statutory.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

The Holding Company has both financial and non-financial KPIs that are driving value alignment/optimization across all subsidiaries.

Requirements

• First degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. A second degree or a related professional qualification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 4 years post-graduation experience within the financial services sector.
• Solid knowledge of group reporting, financial regulations, and accounting procedures.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Job Summary

The Risk Manager is responsible for implementing the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and identifying, assessing, mitigating, and reporting risk to Management and the Board of Holdco and its subsidiaries. The Risk Manager has primary responsibility for risk within Holdco, FSDH Asset Management, FSDH Capital and FSDH Newco and will work with other risk management teams in coverage of the remaining subsidiaries.

Job Details

The FSDH Group follows a three-line-of-defense approach and you will be accountable for supporting and providing oversight to Management in their 1st line of defense as well as taking full responsibility for providing a strong 2nd line of defense.

Requirements

The Risk Manager must have skills and experience to engage with stakeholders at all levels and provide guidance and advice to the business in the structuring of operations and mitigation of Risk. The Risk Manager must have an excellent level of technical expertise and be able to coach and mentor the team effectively
