    Software Compliance Analyst

    Our client, a reputable organisation in the telecommunications industry is looking at filling the role of a Software Compliance Analyst.
    Industry: Telecommunications 
    Job Type: Fixed renewable contract (1 year, 4 months)
    Salary: Very competitive 

    Job responsibilities:

    • Maintain Software Assets and Compliance Management
    • Drive compliance for all IT Licenses 
    •  Analyse Software requirement for license purchases
    • Ensure dependencies and inter relationships between configuration items are communicated and understood.
    • Ensure the availability of license information to staff and management
    •  Ensure the information available helps in planning changes and determining the impact on changes.
    • Provide a graphical representation of the organisation's IS infrastructure to aid diagnosis of incidents and problems.
    • Ensure the effective monitoring of Software license deployed in the environment.
    • Ensure and maintain a comprehensive and accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB)

    Required skills & Qualifications:

    • Bsc or HND in information technology, computer science or related courses
    • Experience in a similar applications support / Software support role
    • Strong general IT skills primarily in a Microsoft Windows environment.
    • Aptitude for learning new programmes and processes
    • High level of organisation skills and attention to detail
    •  Proficiency with Microsoft software (e.g. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
    • Telecommunications industry knowledge

    Job responsibilities:

    • Provide technical information, customer assistance, and solutions to technical problems across the  enterprise
    • Track and monitor IT/IS metrics and analyze related statistics to support decision making in relation to discovering improvement opportunities.
    • Ensure preparation and presentation of reliable trend analyses to help determine focus areas and develop proactive approaches to faults management.
    •  Initiate service improvement programs and liaise with the Change Management team over proposed changes.
    • Undertake projects designed to introduce new services or improve levels of service and carry out independent post implementation surveys to ascertain that newly introduced services meet customers’ utility and warranty requirements.
    • Evaluate new information systems products or services and suggests changes to existing products or services to aid the end user.
    • Eliminate / minimize downtime / disruptions to service delivery due to IT problems / issues
    • Formulate and maintains Customer relationship strategies to satisfy the oprganisation's customers
    •  Develop IT/IS action plan to address identified issues with customer satisfaction
    • Manage Major Incidents and Problems across all IS Enterprise Systems
    •  Ensure operational procedures and practices are well defined, documented and consistently applied

    Service Transition Coordinators

    Job responsibilities:

    • Identify and manage the impact and risks associated with transition of new services and products into production. 
    • Negotiating Service Level Agreements with internal business divisions and coordinating the execution of the agreed SLA. 
    • Management of divisional Vendor Performance Management framework that ensures that IS Vendor SLAs underpins IS commitment to the business and non-performing vendors are reported and managed. 
    • Chairs the Change Control board with the business to assess the proper impact analysis of business changes to production so as to reduce or eliminate the impact  to customers and revenue
    • Deliver all Transition Projects and Programmes in line with recognized best practice methodology (managing risk, governance, quality assurance, issue resolution, reporting)
    •  Ensures accuracy of Enterprise Service Asset and configuration management system and process for proper impact assessment on Change and Release Management
    • Manage the business relationship management & partnering with the Business and Information System Division to ensure alignment with business objective.
    • Develop and manage Operational Level Agreement of all internal and business operational teams

    • Ensure that service performance achievements meet or exceed all of their agreed performance targets, by managing the performance and deliveries of vendors and partners

    •  Develop, Measure and managed Service level management for all IT services
    • Identify service level risks in time to avoid service interruption or degradation

    Required skills & Qualifications:

    • HND or Bsc in Information technology, computer science or other related courses
    • 3-5 years of Customer Service or Account Management Experience

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Knowledge of integrated T1, EFM, and VoIP
    • Ability to exercise tact and good interpersonal skills
