    Head, Financial Planning and Analysis

    Brief Job Profile:

    • Engage budget holders on the annual business planning guidelines/assumptions and
    • provide guidance during the planning process.
    • Coordinate the collation of budget inputs across the company, ensuring inputs from all
    • plants/ functional areas follow stated guidelines.
    • Oversee the preparation of the consolidated annual budget.
    • Monitor approved budget allocations by obtaining information on revenue and
    • expenditure, and reporting variance on a monthly basis.
    • Drive periodic budget forecasting and recommend budget review, as required.
    • Develop periodic and other ad-hoc budget reports, forecasts and analysis.
    • Manage periodic business performance monitoring and reporting process, liaise with
    • Units/Departments to obtain data on defined metrics and generate monthly business
    • performance statements, noting major deviations from planned budget and risk areas.
    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management
    • reports to aid executive management decision-making.
    • Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain deviation from budget/forecasted
    • performance and highlight Management’s actions needed to correct the situation.

    Skill/ Experience

    • First degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related discipline.
    • A Master’s Degree and proficiency in MS Navision are added advantage.
    • Professional certification in any of ACA, ACCA, CFA, etc. is required.
    • Minimum of 10 years of job-relevant experience, with at least 3 years at the management level, in a finance role, within a manufacturing sector.
    • Building detailed models and forecasts in a complex environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Organised and able to lead a team.
    • Excellent analytical skills, with ability to think independently and draw conclusions.
    • A team player who can work with stakeholders in other functions to achieve objectives.
    • Provide evidence-based recommendations and influence decisions using insights.
    • Prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
    • Understand the financial performance of business.
    • Business partnering at all levels including senior management.
    • Communicate complicated information to a wide range of audiences.
    • Motivated self-starter with a positive and proactive attitude to all challenges.
    • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst achieving defined targets.

    Head, Fleet Management Operation (HFMO)

    Job Description

    • Schedule transportation routes per geopolitical zones with particular movement plans.
    • Ensure regular vehicle maintenance and repairs.
    • Responsible for the decision on purchase of company vehicles.
    • Responsible for hiring and training of drivers, monitoring driver’s performance and effect sanctions when necessary.
    • Maintain and manage relationships with mechanic hubs across Nigeria (divided by the 6 geopolitical zones).
    • Collaborate with human resources and business managers to add quality drivers to the fleet.
    • Develop a strategy for decreasing vehicle maintenance costs; work closely with the maintenance team to find ways to reduce downtime due to repairs or routine maintenance.
    • Assist drivers in creating the most efficient routes.
    • Create reports of trucks and drivers' effectiveness to be regularly analysed for the department's efficiency.
    • Meeting regularly with drivers and maintenance team members to discuss ways to meet or exceed corporate revenue goals.
    • Ensures fleet compliance to all road and vehicle regulations and laws; Nigeria Highway Code, road signs, and necessary documentation.

    Requirements

    • HND/BSC in relevant field
    • A minimum of 6 years proven work experience in a similar role
    • Sound knowledge of Fleet Management Operations
    • Solid understanding of management frameworks
    • Strong strategic thinker
    • Proven record of research projects conducted
    • Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skill
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
