    QHSE Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
    • Oversee quality assurance and control processes to ensure that products and services meet organizational and customer expectations.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing defects.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards.
    • Implement workplace health programs aimed at maintaining the physical and mental well-being of employees.
    • Monitor employee health-related issues, ensuring compliance with relevant occupational health and safety regulations.
    • Promote wellness programs and activities to reduce absenteeism and enhance employee satisfaction.
    • Establish and maintain a comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS), ensuring adherence to safety protocols and legal requirements.

    • Prepare regular QHSE reports for senior management, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and compliance status.
    • Ensure the accurate documentation of all QHSE-related processes, incidents, and corrective actions.
    • Communicate with regulatory bodies and external auditors to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and standards.
    • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders (e.g., clients, contractors, suppliers) to ensure alignment with QHSE goals.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Certification in QHSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO certifications) is highly preferred.
    • 2-3 years of experience in a QHSE management role, preferably within [industry].
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing QHSE systems and programs.

    Quantity Surveyor

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates based on the project's scope, design, and client requirements.
    • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that all costs are controlled and within budget parameters.
    • Provide detailed breakdowns of costs for materials, labor, and overheads.
    • Prepare tender documentation, including Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and pricing schedules.
    • Issue and manage the tendering process, evaluate bids, and provide recommendations for contractor selection.
    • Oversee procurement of materials and services to ensure timely delivery within the budget constraints.
    • Draft, review, and manage contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring all terms are met.
    • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and provide support in resolving disputes related to contract terms.
    • Advise on and manage variations, including change orders and adjustments to the contract.
    • Monitor and track project costs, identifying any discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.

    • Prepare the final account, summarizing all costs incurred during the project and ensuring all financial matters are closed.
    • Provide comprehensive final reports for both internal and external stakeholders, comparing actual costs to initial estimates.
    • Maintain accurate records of all cost-related documents, including contracts, invoices, and change orders.
    • Produce monthly financial reports detailing project costs, forecasts, and any variations.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
    • Professional certification is an advantage.
    • 2-3 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management, preferably in the construction or engineering sector.
    • Experience in preparing cost estimates, handling contracts, and managing project budgets.
    • Proficiency in Quantity Surveying software (e.g Excel, MS project).
    • Strong knowledge of construction industry standards, contracts, and relevant regulations.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
