    Inventory & Sales (Finance) Clerk

    Job Type

    6 days per week

    Job Summary

    The Inventory & Sales (Finance) Clerk will be responsible for tracking stock, recording daily sales, calculating basic profits and losses, and ensuring the accuracy of inventory and financial records. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can work independently, follow SOPs, and maintain high standards of accuracy and accountability.

    Key Responsibilities

    Inventory Management

    • Receive and verify incoming stock accurately.
    • Maintain updated records of inventory movements daily.
    • Conduct regular inventory checks and reconciliations.

    Sales & Finance Tracking

    • Record all sales and order details accurately.
    • Calculate daily, weekly, and monthly revenue.
    • Track expenses and prepare basic profit/loss summaries.
    • Ensure all stock-out, returns, and order discrepancies are reported immediately.

    Reporting & Accountability

    • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and sales reports.
    • Participate in weekly performance review meetings.
    • Follow all company SOPs, policies, and reporting structures strictly.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    Qualification

    • Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
    • Candidates without a degree but with proven hands-on experience may be considered.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 1 year experience in inventory management, sales tracking, or basic bookkeeping.
    • Maximum of 3 years relevant experience.

    Core Competencies & Skills

    • Proactive and able to work independently without supervision.
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills.
    • Problem-solving ability and adaptability.
    • Integrity and respect for company records and financial information.
    • Ability to follow instructions and SOPs strictly.

    Work Conditions

    • Onsite role: must be present daily.
    • Must be able to work 6 days per week.
    • Candidate must reside around Ogba / Ikeja axis for easy commute.

    Salary

    ₦80,000 – ₦150,000 monthly
