The Role:
Managing the LIMS-to-Invoice pipeline and real-time Accounts Receivable Aging Reports.
Must-have:
Experience in service-based accounting and ERP systems.
Main responsibilities
Precision Invoicing & Revenue Capture
- Invoice Generation: Transform complex technical "work orders" from the laboratory into clear, itemized client bills.
- Contract Compliance: Cross-reference every "work done" report against the specific Service Level Agreement (SLA) or contract signed. Ensure volume-based discounts and special project rates are applied accurately.
- Rate Management: Maintain an up-to-date database of the standardized Price List vs. bespoke client contracts.
Accounts Receivable & Payment Tracking
- Database Oversight: Monitor the accounts receivable aging report to track incoming payments in real-time.
- Proactive Collections: Execute "Debt Collection Support" by sending professional, scheduled reminders for overdue invoices.
- Escalation: Identify high-risk or chronically delinquent accounts and provide a detailed brief to the Laboratory Manager for further action.
Client Liaison & Dispute Resolution
- First-Line Support: Act as the primary point of contact for all billing inquiries.
- Error Correction: Investigate "disputed charges" by collaborating with the technical team to verify if the correct assay methods or sample prepreparation charges were applied.
- Relationship Preservation: Resolve financial friction with clients professionally to ensure that a billing error does not damage a long-term B2B relationship.
