Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
Develop and implement safety protocols and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.
Manage technical documentation including specifications, manuals, and maintenance records.
Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations effectively.
Interpret technical designs and supervise subcontractors and labor teams for successful project execution.
Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to determine accurate project specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technicians, and contractors.
Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and system analysis for optimization.
Develop comprehensive electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications.
Carry out inspections, system tests, and troubleshooting to ensure operational integrity.
Provide technical support and leadership to project teams and clients.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in electrical/instrumentation engineering—preferably within the oil and gas or industrial sector.
Demonstrated project management experience with a successful track record of delivering engineering projects on time and within budget.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
Deep understanding of relevant engineering codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in design and simulation tools such as AutoCAD etc.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working across multidisciplinary teams.
Strong leadership, planning, and organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and handle technical challenges with minimal supervision.
