Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer at Cozym Process Systems (CPS)

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics, diagrams, and layouts.
• Design and implement electrical and instrumentation systems across projects while ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.
• Manage technical documentation including specifications, manuals, and maintenance records.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations effectively.
• Interpret technical designs and supervise subcontractors and labor teams for successful project execution.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to determine accurate project specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technicians, and contractors.
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and system analysis for optimization.
• Develop comprehensive electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications.
• Carry out inspections, system tests, and troubleshooting to ensure operational integrity.
• Provide technical support and leadership to project teams and clients.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical and instrumentation engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in electrical/instrumentation engineering—preferably within the oil and gas or industrial sector.
• Demonstrated project management experience with a successful track record of delivering engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Deep understanding of relevant engineering codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in design and simulation tools such as AutoCAD etc.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong leadership, planning, and organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and handle technical challenges with minimal supervision.
