    Head of Human Resources

    Job Summary

    • We seek a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Human Resources to lead our HR function and drive our people strategy.
    • The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong leader, and a champion for our employees.
    • This role will oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and HR compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
    • Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
    • Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding.
    • Manage the compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and fairness.
    • Develop and implement employee relations programs, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
    • Lead performance management initiatives, driving employee development and growth.
    • Design and deliver learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations.
    • Partner with senior management to provide strategic HR advice and support.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPM) will be an advantage.
    • Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and regulations.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives.
    • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

    Mining Engineer Trainee

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a motivated recent graduate of mining engineering, geology or a related field to join our team as a mining Engineer (Trainee) .
    • This position is designed for recent graduates or graduates with minimum of 1-3years experience looking to build a solid foundation in mining operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Support leadership in planning, execution of mining activities and ensuring production targets are met.
    • Learn to use basic mining design software and operate technical instruments.
    • Assist in the preparation and interpretation of mining plans and designs.
    • Collection and analysis of onsite data related to mining activities and operations.
    • Actively engage in fieldwork, including surveying and equipment monitoring.
    • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

    Requirements

    • A recent graduate with a degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
    • Completion of NYSC is an added advantage.
    • Proficiency in office and computer aided design softwares used in geology and mining such as arc GIS, sufer, AutoCAD, Matlab, microsoft excel among others.
    • Basic data analysis skills and familiarity with data processing tools.
    • Willingness to learn mining design software and technical instruments.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
    • Willingness to work on-site and adapt to the mining environment.
    • Must reside close to the job location - Gujeni Kaduna State.

    Brokk (200) Operator

    Responsibilities

    • Operate the remote-controlled demolition machine(Brokk 200).
    • Operate brokk(200) in Rotary Kiln.
    • Execute specific demolition tasks as instructed.
    • Follow safety regulations and take action to prevent potential hazards or obstructions.
    • Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met.
    • Maintain, repair and install replacement parts.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc / HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    • Must maintain the equipment and perform servicing when required.
    • Able to maintain an operating log for the Brokk.
    • Strong team player with positive attitude and able to work independently.

    Security Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
    • Monitor or authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
    • Remove wrongdoers and trespassers from the area
    • Secure all exits, doors, and windows during and after end of operations
    • Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
    • Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
    • Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
    • Provide assistance to people in need
    • Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities
    • Submit reports on daily activity and important occurrences.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Higher National Diploma qualification in a relevant field
    • 3 - 5 years of proven experience as a security officer or guard.
    • Familiar with report writing
    • Excellent observation skills
    • Ability to understand and remain confidential.
    • Candidate living in close proximity to Kaduna, Niger, Abujaand its environs ispreferred.
    • Must be willing to resume Immediately.
