Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical, Biological and Life sciences e.g Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Medical Laboratory science, Biotechnology, Forensic science or a related discipline from a reputable university with a First Class or Second Class Upper Division.
- Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
- Must not be older than 26 years as of December 1, 2026.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated research aptitude with the ability to gather, evaluate, synthesize, and present information effectively.
- Basic understanding of business development principles, market analysis, and opportunity identification.
- Ability to identify trends, emerging industries, and potential growth opportunities through research and analysis.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent decision-making and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Exceptional attention to detail, adaptability, professionalism, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
- Must reside in Abuja or be willing to relocate.
- Demonstrated passion and aptitude for science, innovation, and technical problem-solving.
- Willingness to participate in an on-site aptitude assessment following shortlisting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research, gather data, and analyze information to support organizational projects, strategic initiatives, and decision-making processes.
- Monitor industry developments, emerging technologies, and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Support business development activities by conducting market intelligence, competitor analysis, and opportunity assessments.
- Prepare research briefs, reports, presentations, and recommendations for management review.
- Conduct literature reviews on relevant scientific, technical, and forensic topics and summarize findings for ongoing projects.
- Assist with project planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring activities.
- Support the setup of experiments, preparation of materials and equipment, and adherence to established protocols under supervision.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
- Assist with administrative and operational activities including scheduling meetings, organizing documentation, and coordinating logistics.
- Collaborate with team members on interdisciplinary projects and contribute innovative ideas and solutions.
- Participate actively in training sessions, workshops, mentorship programmes, and professional development initiatives.
