    Python Data Scientist (NYSC)

    • The Python Data Scientist will write software codes to query, manipulate, wrangle and analyze datasets
    • He / she will support the automation of data submission retrieval from identified APIs, weblinks and databases
    • He / she will extract data from different sources and build data pipelines that are robust and efficient

    Qualification

    • A degree in computer science, information science, computer engineering or any closely related field is required

    Experience:

    • At least one year experience in data analysis using python and 3-6 months experience in python web development (e.g. flask, django)

    Skills:

    • Sound knowledge of Pandas, core python data libraries and the general python language
    • Good knowledge of relational and structural databases
    • Knowledge of how to create database schemas that represent and support business processes

    User Experience (UX) Designer

    We are looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer (NYSC) who shares our love for great design, has a love for research and data, a strong background in UX for multiple platforms, and is a quick-thinking problem solver who works well with all types of people in an environment that encourages a variety of thought processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and developers

    • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

    • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets

    • Build web page elements and icons such as navigation buttons and search fields

    • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function capturing the best user experience

    • Create original graphics designs or illustration (e.g. images, sketches and tables) as required by prototypes and mockups

    • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders

    • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness), carry out user research and usability testing

    • Provide reviews on existing company products while making a UX inspection, designing and testing of company products, making it easy to use

    • Gathering of user feedback for further improvement of a product or system

    • Support in the creative conversion of data to visual designs, dashboard and charts

    • Ability to train other team members on UX or other related topics

    • Create new policies and update new policies on the company's design standard

    Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or other design subject, fine art, engineering or other related fields and at least one year experience as a UX designer is required.

    Skills:

    • An ability to work remotely across multiple projects and tasks.

    • Great attention to detail, highly organized

    • Strong knowledge of industry tools e.g Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Figma, Illustrator

    • Proficiency in UX Writing & documentation, creating user stories, personas, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes , assets, icons, mockups and storyboards.

    Software Project Management Intern (NYSC)

    We are looking for a Software Project Management Intern (NYSC) who will ensure excellent execution of activities within planned timelines and scope and can work efficiently with little or no supervision. She will apply software development methodologies such as scrum, kanban etc. to drive product development in an agile way, ensuring that quality products are made based on user defined requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Implementing software life-cycle methodology

    Data Analyst Intern

    The Data Analyst Intern will have Advanced MS Excel skill – Proven ability to create interactive dashboards, views and reports on large and complex datasets using advanced capabilities including, but not limited to Advanced functions, Interactive Tools, Interactive and Static Charting, Power Query/ Power View, Symbols & Conditional Formatting, Macros and Ability to write SQL against various database management systems.
