    Ancillary & Catering Specialist

    Job Role

    • Manages, the internal processes with the key internal stakeholders – Finance, Cabin Services and Ground Services, and with the external stakeholder - Catering Service Provider.
    • Responsible and accountable for the end-to-end planning and delivery of all aspects of the catering service for the airline’s daily operations, across the network, for normal operations and disruptions.
    • Maintain on-time departure of flights by ensuring timely reporting of Service Provider for Catering uplift /proper handover to crew on the aircraft and adherence to defined GLP (Galley Loading Plan) inclusive of (but not limited to) food & beverage items for customers, dry stores, crew meals and cabin consumables, bonded stores.
    • To ensure that the supplier community/ service providers and the internal ancillary team deliver the highest standard of service consistently and efficiently in the most cost-effective manner, and they ensure compliance with the defined quality and safety standards.
    • Inventory management of products and sale collections, sale transaction methods (ePOS/ cash/card/on-line/off-line) for Buy on Board products.
    • Work with Finance and Talent Management for release of Crew commission (for BoB inflight sales) and other employee commissions (for other ancillary sales).
    • Ensure the service provider maintains all airline equipment and products including but not limited to F&B products, maintenance and repair of carts and SMU, maintenance of ePOS machines, etc as per the contracted SLA.
    • Represents Ancillary services for safety/ security reviews.
    • Responsible for developing a business continuity plan for situations caused due to airline operations disruptions and/or service providers disruptions (operational/ industrial unrest).
    • Act as a liaison between Commercial and Cabin Services for Ancillary product/service promotions on flights. Develop the plans in conjunction with Cabin Services.
    • Support all Cabin Services projects for enhancement of ancillary revenue and contribute towards their success.
    • Proactively develop and implement a range of strategies in tandem with the internal stakeholders to ensure the team exceeds customer service and cost reduction targets.
    • Budget, Analysis, Planning and Report submission to reporting manager on daily/ weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis, as defined.
    • To carry out any other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of vocational qualification / Bachelor's Degree / Hotel Management Diploma of 3 years, with 3 years job related experience.
    • Working in an operational role with airlines/catering service provider.
    • Good communication skills and presentation skills with good command over the local language and English language.
    • High level of computer literacy especially MS Excel.
    • Ability to cope with the dynamic environment of airline operations.
    • Ability to set clear direction and manage workflow. Ability to foster teamwork.
    • Knowledge of industry best practices for ancillary and catering functions.

    Manager, Talent Operation

    Job Role

    • The Manager, Talent Operations manages all recruiting-related activities, equipping recruiters with the most effective tools to approach the hiring process, tracking recruitment metrics to identify the best strategies and areas of improvement, and forecasting future talent needs and ensuring recruiting teams are able to meet those goals.
    • This role works jointly with recruiters and oversee the sourcing, interviewing, and hiring processes of talents. The position reports to the Director of Talent & Culture.

    Other responsibilities include:

    • Managing all talent acquisition  process, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
    • Updating recruiting procedures or create new procedures
    • Building out reports and dashboards to measure recruitment performance
    • Optimizing the effectiveness of Talent as an operation and driving consistency across board
    • Evaluate and suggest the best recruiting software for company needs
    • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
    • Monitoring key recruitment metrics to identify and resolve issues affecting recruiting procedures
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or any other related disciplines
    • 4 - 6 years proven experience as a Recruiting Manager or similar HR role
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently
    • Knowledge of social media and professional networks
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
    • Experience with the use of applicant tracking software and HR databases
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    • Managing all talent acquisition  process, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.

    Second Officer - ATR 72-600

    Experience Level: Professional

    Job Role

    • The Second Officer acts as second in command of the aircraft supporting the Captain of the aircraft during all normal and abnormal situations so that safety is maintained at the highest possible level.
    • The Second officer will also set, maintain, demonstrate high standards in all aspects of their position and act as the brand ambassador for Green Africa, so that the corporate image is upheld at all times. 

    Other responsibilities include:

    • Maintain the safe day to day operation of the aircraft as the second in command. 
    • Set an example to be followed by all crew to preserve the corporate manage of Green Africa. 
    • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to by all members of crew. 
    • Notify the company or NCAA of any breaches in SOP or safety through the appropriate reporting medium so that lessons can be learnt by the company to enhance flight safety. 
    • Ensure he/she is fit to fly at all times and notify the company if not. 
    • Operate the aircraft according to the approved policies and procedures as determined by Green Africa and the NCAA.

    Qualifications

    • Hold an NCAA Commercial Pilot License. 
    • Hold a valid Medical certificate from ICAO. 
    • Hold English proficiency to ICAO level 4 minimum. 
    • Hold or have held valid multi-engine instrument rating: IR (A) ME PBN.
    • Hold a certificate of satisfactory completion of multi-crew co-operation (MCC) training.
    • Demonstrate excellent problem solving, CRM and team working skills. 
    • Demonstrate command potential.  
    • Must have good knowledge of ATPL subjects.  
    • Ability to perform to a high standard when under stress. 
    • Must have flown within the last 24 months.
    • Must be a Nigerian.

    Experience:

    • At least 200 hours total flying time. 
    • Experience on modern (EFIS), multi-crew, multi-engine transport category aircraft is desirable.

    Quality & Safety Inspector / Auditor

    Experience Level: Intermediate

    Job Role

    • Periodically test and assess the quality control systems. QSIA is expected to work with departmental managers to develop corrective action plan as possible.
    • Carry out planned audits as determined by the published audit schedule in accordance with the procedures laid down in this quality manual.
    • Carry out audits on aircraft to ensure that high standards of maintenance and workmanship prevail, and that mandatory modification and inspections have been incorporated in accordance with the manufacturers’ and authorities’ requirements.
    • Survey the aircraft maintenance at base and line stations plus any contracted sites used by GA.
    • Carry out audits on all activities related to Flight Operation to ensure that high standards of aircraft operation prevails and that manufacturer and authority recommendations are adopted.
    • Determine whether an aircraft is suitable for Certificate of Airworthiness Renewal.
    • May be designated by the QSM to support in the certification of aircraft newly acquired.
    • Carry out investigation of all Near-Miss safety reporting and other incidents involving safety that require an input from the Safety & Quality department in which an unbiased opinion must be provided.
    • Carry out training in company procedures.
    • Carry out any other duties within the field of quality control and assurance as assigned by the QSM.
    • Control and update of the audit schedule.

    Qualifications

    • Higher aeronautical education or equivalent (University Degree).
    • Substantial years of experience (not less than 4 years) in civil aircraft maintenance and operational activities and in a Quality Management System functions.
    • Involvement in a Safety Management System function.
    • Quality and Safety Auditing and regulations training. Techniques in Auditing covered.
    • Knowledge of the documentation associated with mandatory requirements for aircraft maintenance, Flight Operations and other operational activities as specified in Ngeria CARs part 2,3,5,6,7,8,9 and 20, and GA internal requirements.
    • An understanding of the concepts and aims of Quality and Safety Management System, Airworthiness and Quality/Safety Audits.
    • Have completed and passed a recognized auditor and safety training course.
    • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
