Vice President, Fundraising & Investor Relations at iRecruiters Africa Limited

Job Summary:

• This role will support the firm's fundraising function and lead strategic investor relationship management for the firm’s funds.
• The Vice President, Fundraising and Investor Relations, will play a critical role in supporting and executing the capital raising efforts for the firm's private equity and private credit. This role involves working closely with senior team members to develop relationships with potential investors, preparing marketing materials, and managing the fundraising process for current and future fund cycles.
• This role will also be responsible for managing investor communications, organizing investor conferences and events, and overseeing fund administration activities across the funds.
• This role requires effective coordination with the senior management team and other stakeholders across multiple teams to ensure effective engagement with prospective and existing investors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of private equity and fund operations.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
• An MBA or relevant certification is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in investor relations, private equity, or a similar financial services or advisory role, with a proven track record of managing investor relationships and communications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations and to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders efficiently.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals.
• Solid understanding of private equity investment structures, fund management, financial statements, and market dynamics.
