Transport Supervisor at VMAX Tea & Coffee Ltd

Job Summary:

We are looking for an organized and experienced Transport Supervisor to oversee our company’s delivery and logistics operations in Ikeja.
The successful candidate will manage the transport team, schedule deliveries, monitor vehicle performance, and ensure efficient, safe, and timely distribution of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily transport operations, including delivery planning, vehicle dispatch, and driver coordination.
• Prepare and manage delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery to stores, customers, or partners.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, and documentation (insurance, registration, roadworthiness).
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and traffic regulations.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel, and driver performance.
• Train and supervise drivers and logistics assistants.
• Handle transport-related incidents, breakdowns, or delays promptly and effectively.
• Work closely with the warehouse and operations teams to plan and optimize routes.
• Track and control transport costs to improve operational efficiency.
• Generate daily and weekly logistics and performance reports.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in transport or logistics supervision.
• Good knowledge of Lagos routes and local delivery regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or logistics tracking software.
• Must live in or near Ikeja.
• Valid driver’s license and understanding of fleet management.

• Experience managing delivery fleets for food, beverage, or retail companies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
